Bad stuff about Hamilton:
-drunk university students around Hess Village
-poverty and panhandling downtown
-the smell of sulfur over the Skyway Bridge

Good stuff about Hamilton
-awesome used book stores
-Big B Comics
-restaurants (Vietnamese restos are wicked)
-Limeridge Mall
-good music and arts scene
-few pretentious fucktards like in Toronto
-Mcmaster and Mohawk
-the view from the mountain
-tons of hidden green space that not enough people take advantage of
-Bayfront park
-new sexy cool public library

It's got a lot going for it, IMO.

I've got family and friends there and have spent a lot of time there, and I'm sure it has it's good parts if you live there but as a visitor it's a pretty shit city imo. I've met some really cool people from there though.
