Lots to be upset about as a Sharks fan today. But despite having the worst fourth line in the playoffs we played a mostly great game. The Tank will be rocking on Sunday.

I had another "Should have kept Loktionov" post ready to go when Kopitar went down but my phone died. So I'll say it now: Kings should have kept Loktionov even if he was miserable. Pissed then, pissed now.
Glad Toffoli looks good, he's great at finding space and keeping possession. I want to complain about Voynov making dumb mistakes and not playing well in the defensive zone, but he keeps scoring goals so I'm never going to get the chance. Really wish Mitchell had a shot to come back, that would be a good pairing.
Will be smiling all the way to game three.

Honestly, I think we're done. We played fairly solid in Game 1 and had one hell of a third period in that game but we lost. We played a great game today, and improved over Game 1, but still lost in the end. We may be improving but it might be too late. We keep doing good things and coming up short. I don't think it'll be a sweep, but I think Quick could just keep them winning no matter how good our pressure is. We've just given too much up to them already. I'm pretty pissed off tonight.

I also love how the ESPN writeup tries to sell the "Sharks dominated, but still lost" angle. Yes, they dominated the first and early second periods so hard that they were in a two goal deficit. Their first and second goals came on great plays, but the goal that put them up 3-2 was incredibly lucky, easily as lucky as the delay of game penalty that gave us the five on three. They admittedly did dominate for about a full period (halfway through the 2nd until about halfway through the 3rd), but that was it.
