McDavid needs to go to a real hockey market.
Too many star players have been buried in bad markets lately.
Last time big #1 players went to good markets was CHI.
EDIT - That was all the way back in 2007. I guess there's Galchenyuk who was close to being a #1. And actually I dunno if I would consider PIT a good market.

I've been really skeptical lately with college signings, only because it doesn't seem to work out too well for the Leafs. I don't think the signings the Leafs have made in the past were supposed to be immediate impact or elite level type players, but there's certainly possibilities and people sometimes mix up possibilities and expectations in relation to them. /OCDChewie-type post.
