If you heard the leaked version of this song in it's shittier form, you will absolutely appreciate the high quality that this legal version as to offer...

Check it out...

Liu Kang is a big NIN troll. He has been sad ever since trent stopped sounding like Ministry.

That's not a fake

Edit: Has anyone seen this before? I've had it on my computer for years. I can't remember where I got it. All I know is TR said something like "this is the one thing that I knew would come back to get me"

The hand that feeds at first was a bit meh, but it quickly grew on me once I heard the "legal" version. Getting Smaller is cool, and so is the line begins to blur...can't wait to buy the whoooole thing!

From The Meathead Perspective...

I understand that the shows sold out fast, and a lot of people were left standing out in the rain with nothing but a turkey and a bucket of corn to show for it (I'm not really good with sayings, sorry). And obviously this means the tour is a total disaster, since I'm sure the last thing Trent wanted was to have people be interested in his band. But let me try to illustrate this ticket situation the best way I know how, with a really unprofessional looking chart:

As you can not-so-clearly see, there are a bunch of NIN fans there on the left who couldn't get tickets, because the venue (the tuna can-like object on the right) is too small to fit all of them, due to fire codes and various assorted laws of physics. Believe it or not, in many locations around the world there are actually up to several thousand people who desire to see Trent Reznor in person, and possibly a couple who also want to see Aaron North for some reason. So when NIN plays at Uncle Phil's Authentic Hibachi Grill & Bar down the street, and the place has a capacity of 200 people, difficulties may arise when the time comes to distribute tickets for admission, since there may very well be up to 500 people in the area who give a shit about Nine Inch Nails.

I've been listening to various leaks for awhile now. This song and a couple others. Nice quality leaks of this song and Getting Smaller and The Line Begins to Blur have been available for awhile now.

I'm a very big NIN fan, but I'm just not feeling some of these new songs. Obviously I'm not going to finalize my judgement until I buy the entire album, but I don't know. People have gone after Trent's writing in the past and I've always, always defended it in some way... but from the three songs I've heard (and samples of all the other tracks), I am just really not liking the lyrics at all.

We'll see what happens. I'm still buying it and I'd still like to go to the shows (fucking scalpers, that's another story).

i totallly overplayed those other 2 (getting smaller / line begins to blur) and i felt i was ruining the (almost 6 year) wait for this album. every time a new song or leak came out id say.. 'i wont download this...' then i always did.. so now i've blocked all nin sites (except for the nin hotline) on my router (how pathetic is that?) so i cant be tempted to download anything :p i've lost my self control... only 5 weeks now.... *dribble*

I think the lyrics on With Teeth are more personal, almost along the lines of Pretty Hate Machine. They aren't meant to be an overall poetry story that was TDS, they are kinda raw and Trent is like an open book this time around.

Saying that, Love is not enough and With Teeth fucking rock. Home is also a good track, I hope that shows up on a single.
