Nintendo 3DS Software Showcase [E3 2012] - Trolls, come see how it's done.

Agree with some of the comments. There was no need for this conference, and the lack of new announcements is disappointing, but the actual content was good. The system's lineup is already pretty strong and will continue to be so for the next year.

I do miss E3 2010 Nintendo, though. So many surprises. :(

Why the fuck would they say nothing about Fire Emblem? I can only guess that it's because that would be a new game that people want.

I honestly think Nintendo was attempting to troll us. Not even as a joke.
 
I'm glad I bailed out of the 3DS train earlier this year. Yikes. :\

Not to say there won't be a few good games this year though, certainly.
 
The conference actually got me interested in most of those games. Disapointed no metroid, donkey kong or zelda was announced but there is definately a bunch of really good games on the way. I'll be picking up Castlevania for sure.

I had this weird disconnect where at first it really felt like this was his dream game and was super excited about it, but then the overly scripted and robotic performance left me puzzled as if he wanted to get off the stage and get done with that shit as quickly as possible.

Nerves I guess..

This I can't agree with.

The third party list is really great for a handheld device. Kingdom Hearts/Final Fantasy/Castlevania and Epic Mickey are all good to great franchsies and they have all of them launchign this year.

Not bad at all, it's just we knew about every single one of them before this and even one of those wasn't shown.

For a second there I was worried the 3DS conference might have actually been good and lifted this E3 out of the "absolute, total, complete, and utter shit" pile.
 
It's pretty funny seeing all those PS360 2013 games and when it comes to Nintendo that year doesn't exist.

Where's all that western support Iwata?

Nintendo must really believe the world is ending in 2012. Yeah, all of them had bad conferences but only one had multiple shows that basically revealed nothing, and they had new hardware for the love of god!

There aren't any ever green titles either. Brain Age 3? Tomodachi Collection? Just Super Mario 2, Luigis Mansion, and Paper Mario? Makes zero sense. The most saturated and empty first-party release list ever imagined.

Iwata. The 3DS is going to be eaten alive.

We already knew all of these were coming except Scribblenauts and that was announced yesterday.....why make a conference of something we already knew? Just show it on Gametrailers or something

I waited a year for these shitty Nintendo conferences.

I wouldn't mind if we were going to get some Wii U/3DS reveals soon, but this is a fucking joke.

E3 is the biggest gaming event of the year, and they fucking blew it.

Super low expectations saved it for me. Moffit kinda set it up for failure when he said we'd see new stuff, but luckily I didn't believe him for second.

Paper Mario and NSMB2 demos were actually pretty fantastic looking. Mirror of Fate's aesthetic disappointed me; I was kinda hoping that seeing it in motion would make it look ok. Gameplay in it still seemed cool though.

All in all, not a single surprise this e3? Beyond and Gears Judgement leaked out late, not sure if those count. Nintendoland was ok I suppose, and a surprise. Wonderbook, but that's not interesting in the least. Pretty bad e3 overall, to be perfectly honest. At least we got to see a lot of cool stuff in action.
