That's what everyone's F5 button is wondering as wellI wonder when Amazon will have them for preorder
For the aussies it can be pre-ordered from EBgames.
I looked up the loose cartridge price for the 30 games, and it would come out to something like $478.31 to buy them all, so surprisingly NES cartridges seem to have been going back up in value despite VC being a thing. Still, I can't really imagine them mass-producing cartridges again. I think people only pay that much because it's nostalgia for the actual cartridge from 30 years ago that you can't just go to the store and buy, but if you could buy freshly-produced cartridges, then people would probably just turn their noses up at them instead.
Pre-sale is completely sold out at EB and JB
It's available again on Amazon UK for pre-order @£49.99
Is the extra controller there?
Is the extra controller there?
I was wondering the same thing. What is the res this thing is playing at, if it has an HDMI output?
Extra Controller is GAME exclusive in the UK it seems.
How many of these games have multiplayer, by the way? Is it worth getting a second controller?

Has a price been announced yet??? Sorry for not reading through 100 pages.

These 10 games have 2-player simultaneous modes:
Balloon Fight™
BUBBLE BOBBLE
DOUBLE DRAGON II: THE REVENGE
Dr. Mario™
GRADIUS™
Ice Climber™
Mario Bros. ™
SUPER C™
Super Mario Bros. ™ 3
TECMO BOWL
(might be more, not sure about Gradius).
So Simon's Quest is in, but the far superior CV3 isn't included.
Though somehow I'm still going to end up with this I know it.
I'm sure there's a reason. Honestly though I wouldn't but Simon's Quest in here, I think it's a really obtuse game that will irritate more casual players these days. I loved it as a kid, but I can't stand it anymore.

What's so obtuse about equipping an item and kneeling at a dead end for 10 seconds until a magical tornado comes and whisks you off to the next location?
GRADIUS should have 2 player alternate but I'm fairly sure it does not have 2 player simultaneous. That was reserved for LIFE FORCE.
Super Mario Bros. 3 only has simultaneous play in the "vs" mode, which admittedly can be a fun way to stop someone from taking turns

I assume the reason is that CV3 would require some kind of additional chipset, it's usually the standout game that's incompatible with cheap Famiclones.I'm sure there's a reason. If this is running via emulation which we all think it is, Castlevania III has some emulation issues especially with its sound. So Simon's Quest is in, but the far superior CV3 isn't included.

You know, I don't mind the obtuseness given all the information on the game but the slow text any time the day changes makes me want to bash something.Castlevania 2 was a fantastic game for any kid as long as they had Nintendo Power, as I had.

Who do we have to blackmail to get that Amazon preorder up
I though Amazon and Nintendo fell out years ago....did they kiss and make up?

Yeah but nah, the Mini-NES is not actual NES hardware, it's just an emu-box. Since CV3 was released on the Wii VC, they have the emulator to run it already. There has to be another reason.
