I think it's anything to sell MVP Cards.

I must really piss off the local Game Crazy kids by using all my trade-in credit for - oh, games! Instead of their MVP card.

I mean I'd get one, but I'm poor. It's not like I'm trading in games because I have nothing better to do, I need more money to perpetuate my addiction; but it's not so bad that I have to give blowjobs in back alleys yet. Oh ho ho ho!

Well, if you trade in a ton of games, wouldn't you want the MVP card? You get a 10 percent bonus trade in credit for every game surely you can make up that 15 dollars in one year...???

Hey, we had two guys at the local GameCrazy waiting to buy it. I tried to talk 'em into getting Halo 2, but they wouldn't have any of it.

"hey, you two can play that Metroid game together"
"we're gonna." (sulk)
"awesome, i remember when I first played Duke Nukem over a LAN in uh when was that um uh 1995 i think, wow that was NINE YEARS AGO"
"okay"
"yeah, it'll be like that, only you guys get to pay a hunnerd fitty for the experience and there's no shrink ray"
"whut"
"enjoy!"

"oh and hey - as well as hanging out in game stores trying to convince random people like you not to buy something that doesn't interest me, i hang out on internet message boards and do the same! "

There were about 100+ people at the event everyone up to me and probably everyone that is there tonight received a Shirt with their DS purchase. Not bad for free. The line was really slow since they didn't have (maybe broken) a scanner and had to manually enter each serial number in. I was #54 and I got my DS at about 1240am.

Just opened the packaging. Looks nice. I think I will go feel the magic now.

Good news!

Smapty just got back, he walked, and said that at the 11th hour a small bus full of people showed up and piled out to get in line behind him. There was enough DS's for all (~20 peeps). The cool thing was the EBGame's store provided free hot chocolate for everyone. Seems I missed the party. I should'a stuck around:

that's why you're the loser. HOT CHOCOLATE GET.

When in the HELL did Snapty give a damn about Nintendo? All he has done since joining is troll every DS thread he could.

ironically I was up at this time (and made a few posts as well) and could have gone to a wal-mart.. but it is cold as shit here, I was tired and working out hard drive problems, and two are already waiting for me at gamestop when they open at 10.....

hope you guys had fun.. my days of waiting in lines are coming to a close...

though it should be noted that there wasn't much lineage for halo 2 in this area either..

though the lines should be in full effect... ON FRIDAY!

MS need to bring out X-Boy with Wi-Fi Pocket Halo.
Where the hell would you put it? You'd need a mount (ala machine gun) just to set the thing down!!! :lol

I think MS is waiting to see how the PSP does before entertaining thoughts of going into the handheld market.. not to mention I'm sure they would like their Home Entertainment division to post a profit one of these years...

I was just at Target and there was only ONE other duder waiting to get a DS. All i can say is NintenD00MED.
