Two things suddenly make sense.

1. Nintendo have played down the actual console. The pad is the star and it's more or less a fully functioning console that blows away the Vita as the console is it's brain! Fucking awesome! There is so much tech in that pad but a 2nd pad is going to be expensive!

2. They're giving 3rd parties a focus here. A year old game gets a spot because it's the idea that counts not the game.

Wii-U is now my main console. The PS3 might join the 360 in it's box....
