That was a letdown. No megatons, no unannounced titles (other than NintendoLand), no 3rd party exclusives...Nintendo had better announce something more interesting closer to launch if they actually expect the console to sell.

Holy fuck Nintendo has some shitty time management! Spent way too much time explaining a simple ass game that is not revolutionary! The lack of new games is disturbing as well!!!

Good Lord Nintendo.

You just had to show The new Retro game, some high profile 3rd party exclusive, and perhaps a 3D Mario/Zelda game, and you would've won E3. It was so simple!

What a failure.

All I have to say is...

I can't believe I took a break from Diablo 3 XP exploit for this shit, smh

Nintendo Land is apparently their top game... Absolutely disappointing. If there was any Zelda game being released they would have shown it. No surprises at all. Nothing captured me.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Closing with a walk through NintendoLand!

Holy shit this is really it! This is really all they have lined up! This system is DOA.

How is it DOA? The only thing Wii had at launch were some mediocre third-party games and Zelda Twilight Princess.

This thing has Pikmin 3, a new Mario, and some decent third party games. It's certainly not DOA.

can someone sum up what the E3 Nintendo thing had? Just got home and saw a glimpse of NintendoLand which seems better than Home already but just curious at the announcements/reveals.

Nintendo waits an entire year to show us what they've been working on and this is all they produce? I should have expected it I guess, I guess I won't be buying a WiiU for a few years because at this rate they're won't be much to play on it for a while. It's pretty damning on Nintendo's part considering the dearth of software for the Wii over the last year and a half.

Welp.

Microsoft - 4/10
EA - 5/10
Sony - 6/10
Ubi - 8/10
Nintendo - 2/10

As mentioned: No Retro. No Zelda. No 3D Mario. No Mario Kart. No Smash Bros. No Star Fox or F-Zero. Few new 3rd party games. In fact, no megatons of any kind. Nice hardware, a clear step up from current gen hardware based on their 1st party games, but it's hard to know how many 3rd party games will take advantage of the boosts the hardware provides (vs lowest common denominator development). Most of the controller screen uses are gimmicky...but they will be gimmicky. Anyone who's used a DS or 3DS knows ideas tend to be limited there.

Final Nintendo score depends on what they do at the 3DS show, but wow. So underwhelming. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Ubi clearly had the best conferences and the best collection of games. Sony showed some really interesting NEW IPs and the rebirth of some old ones. Not great, but sufficient. Everyone else could have stayed home.

Knock 2 points off each of those, but I agree with the order.

I would argue Nintendo's conference was worse than Microsoft's based purely on the fact that Nintendo is bringing new hardware to the game. This show was the complete antithesis of their 2006 unveiling of the Wii.

Reggie could have walked out onto the stage and squeezed out a turd and still beaten MS and Sony.

And yet somehow he failed to.
