The only thing left to speculate about is whether Nintendo can possibly disappoint more than they already have so far. I'm not sure I have the stomach for people rebuilding their wishful thinking again... It would be way more depressing than the 6 threads prior.

GUYS. GUYS. GUYS. What if this was a stealth reveal of Retro's new game - a collaboration with Treasure where you play as Non-Specific Action Figure, a sword wielding, flying dude who shoots missiles from his wings? WHAT IF WE'VE ALL JUST BEEN TROLLED HARDER THAN THE BILLY GOATS GRUFF?

I think Nintendo was desperate to create funny "bits" in an attempt to mask the crappyness of the real content they had for E3.

Hence the figure, Reggie spending way to long having fun with his zombified face, Iwata doing the same, the banana holding, etc.

When you know you don't have enough shit to make the hardcore happy at E3:

  1. try and make them laugh by playing up to shitty memes
  2. make weird videos with a non specific action figure in...
  3. ???
  4. profit

Reggie was as lame and contrived as Kevin Butler this year.

I wonder what they've learned from the 3DS. Just slap some New Mario Bros. in there?
I'd actually be happy if this conference was anything like the 3DS one, so I'd know in a year I'd be playing Kid Icarus, an exclusive Resident Evil, Paper Mario, an OoT remake, etc. ...

But like this? No way I'm getting it, Pikmin is cool, P-100 could be cool, but there needs to be some big bomb or two, that get me to buy the console first, so I'll pick these smaller games up alongside. Terrible decision if they really just keep waiting for next year (after they've already had a year of only teasing the console...), since they won't get the PS360 crowd with this karaoke machine, nor any of the Nintendofans.
 
So, have any sites got any decent photos of the final Wii U hardware? (ports, and not just from the front like on the Nintendo site).

Can't find any anywhere.

I've been looking/hoping for a thread like this to pop up soon. OP doesn't need to be fancy; I just miss NintenGAF's Community sanctuary.

Nice photos of the console if anyone's got them! Like, from the E3 floor, not promo.

/repeating himself.

But really, just include a nice list of console features (miiverse, etc), a list of launch window games and possible pricing/release date. That'd be great.
 
Is this thread going up in Community or Gaming? I hope Community, because it seems as if most of the trolls stay away from threads there.

NO. No more speculation threads. I had fun and it helped me survive until E3, but that party is over. The hot wings have all been chewed down to the bone and the keg is dry.

DO WANT. It'd be like a combination of Gunstar Heroes and Guardian Legend! Toss in sone grapple 'n throw gameplay and then we'll also have some Mischief Makers nuance to play with. Sign me up!
