Windwaker HD was completed in half a year, it would be a no-brainer for Nintendo to re-release a classic.

Schuelma has mentioned it several times, as he and I am pretty sure many of us cannot fathom why they haven't been releasing Cube and Wii HD editions, in order to fill up the gaps.

When looking at the large gaming journalism sites that might be true (or not) but so far I haven't really seen any examples of this. I think All 3 companies are lacking hype considering how close we are to E3.

I've theorized EAD 4 (2D Mario team) may be making a 2.5D Metroid for the following reasons:

- Supposedly Nintendo only wants to make one 2D Mario game per console and both 3DS and Wii U have their installments
- Hiroyuki Kimura (EAD 4' s producer) designed both Metroid II and Super Metroid so he definatley has the experience.

Maybe EAD 4 will make the next 2D Metroid with Yoshio Sakamoto playing an oversight role. Since NSMB U was released in 2012, I could see it being released next year.

More a case of perfectionism. They'd have to do a considerable amount of reworking in order to get some of their Wii/Gamecube games into a state where they're happy to release at full price.

Have Retro hinted at having two teams? Linkedin lists them as having between 50-200 members. Which could be enough for two teams depending on how big DKC's staff was.

They had one team as of the DKCTF reveal. Even if they have hired a bunch of people and expanded to two teams it would still be too early to see anything from them, since Retro has worked on a three year schedule since Prime 2.

And IIRC they are a bit below 100 employees, similar to Monolith Soft Tokyo.

The travel or, in this case the method of transportation, isn't as important as the destination. People do not ride the Hype Train for the bells and whistles (pun somewhat intended), they do so to be delivered to paradise.

I think Riki is on the ball, it has to do with how tight-lipped they are.

Sony and MS is very predictable imo, while Nintendo can do crazy stuff like motion controls, Wii Music or Nintendoland. Thats why people like to speculate on them.

I've always find it ironic that X is confirmed worldwide for 2014 and everyone expects it in 2015 while Yarn Yoshi has no date and everyone expects it in 2014.

Seriously I know everyone was burned about the whole NA Xenoblade thing, I was pissed too even tho I don't like the series, but Nintendo seems to be going about it perfecly this time. Of course there can always be delays, but as of right now its 2014 worldwide.

Anywayz: My Predictions:
3DS:
-Majora's Mask Remake: 2014
-Smash Bros. release date and one-three newcomers + newcomer at the tournament.
-One-two big first party retail games that had previously not been revealed.
-Maybe a couple eShop games. Hopefully GB Remix but that'll probabably be in a regular Direct.

WiiU:
-Hyrule Warriors and Bayonetta 2 release dates.
-More footage of the same old games.
-Miyamoto's new IP NFC game. (I can't remember from the investors meeting if Miyamoto's new IP is seperatefrom the NFC game, but I think it was implied that they are the same thing. May be wrong tho.)
-Zelda U. Please don't be 2D, be 3D but with ALBW item rental and dungeons in any order plz. And Hero Mode from start. Maybe a 2014 date.
-Maybe one more unrevealed bugretail game.

What I hope for:
-I honesly don't know...feels like I've gotten a lot of good games between 3DS & WiiU, especially 3DS since I vastly prefer it. I guess a actual new 3D Mario not based on the same world themes from NSMB would be good. (I like those games, but want something new.) But its too soon for a Mario game I feel. As long as Zelda U is awesome I'll be good. Don't really expect much from E3 since Nintendo announces games year round.

I'd be surprised if they just drop the remaster thing after WW considering it was successful, and apparently relatively low-effort. Slipped my mind when I was writing my expectations, but this is something that could very well show up.

And I suspect 3DS will have a pretty decent showing, I can't name a single retail game Nintendo has announced going forward aside from Smash Bros, Kirby and Mario Golf were the last two they had announced right?

Edit: Duh, Tomodachi, but that will be out before E3 too leaving just Smash Bros, which is a summer release. Nothing for fall or the holidays.

Yea, I'd guess we will see more HD remakes but I'm not sure if it will be E3. Also I was hoping they would announce it as a series with the promise of future titles, even if the specific titles aren't mentioned.

A lot of titles could benefit from the treatment WWHD got.
