Nintendo is just now entering beast mode.

Obviously not beast mode without big next sequels and new ip that are clearly saved for Switch 2 (big mario, big zelda, new stuff like ARMS and Splatoon) and reliance on ace multiplatform titles too but they're doing pretty pretty pretty good (and maybe elevated by how bad everyone else does).

The problem with Nintendo, in my view, is there is minimal innovation from them nowadays and they're just so far behind their competition. They still have the brand recognition, but give enough time and they'll lose that if they don't push themselves.

Nintendo has been on demon time.

The switch is still getting quality first party titles for varying audiences the last year of it's life.

MP4 finally dropping will prolong the switch until the next console releases, assuming it's next spring or fall.

A bit of a strange take really. I get the feeling they are in 'hang in' there mode, as they send off the Switch. The direct wasn't that great and had a lot of third party efforts.
Nintendo is trying to avoid the last 2 years of the WII.
If anything, they have held on too long to the Switch profits.

Nintendo fans have 1 braincell, confirmed.

The switch is such a great idea. A portable console that can also be docked. Unfortunately after getting one I realized nearly all Nintendo games just don't appeal to me. I forget which Mario game it was but one of the early Mario games got like 9/10's everywhere and I would give it a 5/10 at best. Ended up selling it.
