Is the search function broken? Every time I tried to search for threads on this all I got was a blank page. Stupid piece of #%$! search :). Sorry if old.

Latest issue of Nintendo Power (vol. 192, June) highlights:

Electroplankton preview (dunno if this means it will come out in NA)
Another Code and Super Princess Peach coming to NA

Inside Zelda - new monthly feature. Three page article by Eiji Aonuma where he talks about his past, how get got started with Nintendo, thoughts on the series and development of the latest game, influences (Astro Boy, Miyazaki movies, puppets). Five screens of Zelda that I haven't seen before, but then I haven't kept up on Zelda news either so they may not be new. One is of Link running around holding a chicken :lol.

Pullout poster for Castlevania DS
Shadow the Hedgehog interview with Takashi Iizuka
Dynasty Warrior Advance, Advance Wars DS, Shogun Warrior, Polarium, Need for Speed Underground 2 DS two page previews
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones five page preview including interview with localization team
Some kind of insert with cards promoting the DS and games (Goldeneye, Pac-Pix, Meteos, Lost in Blue, Nintendogs, Puyo Pop Fever, Shogun Warrior, Zoo Tycoon, and Age of Empires II)

Pretty interesting issue overall with lots of attention on the DS. Next issue to include more Zelda coverage, Batman Begins, Killer 7, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor, Kirby Canvas Curse, Nanostray, and Meteos. Also -- wait for it! -- a big E3 preview (which is kind of silly because the next issue will probably arrive two weeks after E3 is over :D)

Oops! My fat fingers put the 2 meant for NFSU on Polarium instead. Edited original post to correct this. There is no Polarium 2 in Nintendo Power, it's just Polarium. Sorry :D

I'm amazed nintendo can fill up a magazine anymore.

That's largely because unlike most other offical and cross platform mags NP is largely filled with strategy guide type of stuff. Previews make up the second largest part of the mag while reviews are pretty minimal.

I was thinking the same thing before reading your post. Aside from the GB version, and Super Famicom, were other Nintendo Picross games released?

No. :-(

It would be so perfect for the DS too!

Well, what, if anything, does it say about a US release? They have previewed Japan-only games like Magical Vacation in the past... (though, admittedly, NoA was presumably seriously considering a localization at that point).
Another Code and Super Princess Peach coming to NA
OK, so I guess jarrod was right after all... As for Super Princess Peach, though, was there ever any doubt? I mean, have any Mario spinoffs in recent years not been localized?

Also, what info do they have about the game? I don't think there's been much of anything released since it was first announced.

wait a sec... did someone bother to actually post the reviews of nintendo power :lol

Strongest criticism I've read in a NP review: "The controls are a bit sluggish." Also, for the Gameboy licensed piece of crap du jour: "May not be very challenging for anyone but the youngest gamers."
