Sounds like US/Canada will be unable to preorder the S2. I'd like to take advantage of that $50 Mario Kart deal but maybe I'll just wait for Age of Imprisonment and just play MP4 on S1.Fuck you U.S
I was very looking forward to MKWorld since I played unhealthy amount of MK8Deluxe but the game I'm most hype about is Donkey Kong Bananza.Sounds like US/Canada will be unable to preorder the S2. That game looks fun as fuck!
DEEP KONG GALACTIC
Nice. Finally some positives coming out of this trade war.
Probably April 17th during the Direct honestly.Look, I am on here being snarky and making jokes.
In all honesty though, I fully expect Nintendo to have some form of video to announce new release dates, price, and explain to consumers the features of the console, and game carts more clearly. I believe this will happen in May once they have a clearer understanding of what is happening geopolitically.
We just have to be patient and pray nothing escalates any farther into something worse than a trade war.
What, no? Unless Canada gets its supply imported from US..i really hope we arent going to get a price increase in Canada because of the American tariffs

Wonderful point. I didn't consider that. You very well may be right!Probably April 17th during the Direct honestly.
We're all in this together!
You really see us as a 51st state or are you just being sarcastic?Don't worry my Canuck friends, Governor Mark Carney will talk to the President to get this solve. The 51st state has nothing to worry about.
Let's go, big guyLet the preorders begin
Let the preorders begin
I agree, assuming they did not manufacture them in China.Nintendo should use this 90 day window to get as much as they can into the US.

I would assume. It feels like it is literally changing by the day. Regardless if you think Switch 2 is reasonable or not, it feels like maybe more bad could come later and Nintendo has a window of time now to move as much units as possible.Nintendo moved a bunch of their manufacturing capacity to Vietnam, which is why these tariffs would have been disproportionately harmful to them.
Have to imagine that we'll get an announcement about preorders opening in the US and Canada very soon.
I hope so….i have more issue pre-order delays than actual price.Have to imagine that we'll get an announcement about preorders opening in the US and Canada very soon.

We may hear from Nintendo soon? To open preorders in US and Canada! Tariffs on pause for 90 days.

But seriously, have you heard anything?
Yea, it's not too bad! It's still less than 2 months from launch!I'm betting either this Friday or, more likely, next Wednesday for pre-orders.
