Nintendo's poppin' the champagne right now for sure
Nintendo announcing a delay in a title Direct? So…of the next question is…
![]()
Will we see more delays in the western hemisphere or Europe? Everyone!?
Maybe… the Mari Kart Direct!?
They aren't cancelled full stop, its a delay. Pending next market manipulation. They aren't canceled, they are still at least 10%, if not China.
Yeah, i meant it as a joke yesterday that maybe the next "delay" would have been the Mario kart direct. It was just a joke.Nintendo announcing a delay in a title Direct?
Nah I don't think it works like that. It would be a Twitter post. Just boilerplate and to the point. You wouldn't put outwardly bad/ bummer news in a Direct like that. Directs exist purely to make their products look and sound great/ put them in the best possible light.
But all of this is irrelevant now, with the tariffs canceled 90+ days/ prolly indefinitely.
Meanwhile in Europe…The us economy is so intertwined with the rest of the world, it's impossible for everything going on to not impact everyone else.
Congrats!Meanwhile in Europe…

How dare you claim Canada before us?If CANZUK were a proper thing, or the Commonwealth were more than ceremonial, you wouldn't be suffering like this my Canadian brothers and sisters.
I guess you'll have to do with beaver tails instead.
I would assume it is next week for the date. For everyone interested in Canada and US. With how quickly things are changing in the trade war, Nintendo may want to see stability before they announce anything.Things are looking pretty grim for an announcement today, and tomorrow is Friday. I'm hoping we won't have to wait until next week for a new preorder date.
