Yep, I was interested in this until they said no dub. I mean they couldn't get anime voice actors for this? They aren't that expensive.

Not that expensive relative to what?

Comments like that are silly. It still costs money on top of all the resources they've been putting in localizing it and all that needs to be balanced against what they expect to sell. Which isn't much. A dub wouldn't have changed anything except their bottom lie.

It was either him Gordin/Raian or Jeorge and they choose him instead. They also have more guys from Shadow Dragon compared to Awakening (4 versus 3).

songs are important in this game. leaving like that is just like having Azura singing in Japanese for Fire Emblem Fates while having English voice. then people will compare between dubbing direction between the two games

Honestly the only thing they should've done with the localization is just add subtitles to battle dialogue and cool it on the changes. I don't mind the costume changes though I guess it was too far to take the feedback from Fates' localization into consideration

I was thinking something along the lines of "I have reservations about buying this game now." The characters speaking a different language seems big.

Happens in Hollywood movies dubbed in other languages all the time.

Nintendo obviously just didn't think it would be worth it to dub.

Lack of subs in battles (which now I'm told is as even bigger problem than I first realised) and some of the graphical changes that look a bit shabby like the smoke over one characters chest that clashes against the art style of the game (and also weird since just now we've seen cleavage from other characters so it's not even a consistent change)

Don't really mind the lack of dub.
