This is what always happens when you ask the graphic designer for "200 logo ideas" - they quickly run out of good ideas and start drawing any shit that comes into their head, sometimes including stuff that's intentionally hideous. The really funny thing is when the client looks at one of the ones that was intended as a joke and goes "I like that!".

I'm 99% sure that was supposed to be a smile. I don't think people hand shake all that much in Japan, and they certainly don't do what you were thinking. At least not in the open.. I'm too serious..
