Nintendogs AI

I have to make a presentation to my company about "Human - Computer" interaction and I thought that the whole Nintendogs experience would be cool to showcase.
Are there any tech documents about this? Besides the "It is very advanced" and "OMG it LEARNS!"

What part of AI? If you mean responding to voices or the way you play with the dog (touching his nose to make him sneeze etc) then the AI is good. But then you see things like one dog goes to fetch a frisbee, and there's another dog in the way...the first dog will just run into the other and continue running until the collision allows him to get past

Voice recognition is also very hit and miss. You might end up with something like this:

(talking to your audience)

"Now when I say his name, he will sit. "Sit down". *awkward, nervous laugh*

"Sit. Sit! I said "sit" you little bastard! I'm fired? What do you mean 'I'm fired'?"

Voice Recognition is dead-on. I I thought the same as you when I first started playing but then I noticed that the reason the VR system doesn't always "work" is dependent on how much you train your dog and how much it loves you. My dog likes me a lot now and will do everything I say. However, if it gets tired (after a "bad" walk or if you do too many VRs in a row), it will start to ignore my commands or do other commands.

Is for my workmates = all developers/geeks.
It has to be interesting from a techie point of view but not too deep that I'd have to explain principles of AI to everybody.

I'm confused, though...I mean, what exactly do you want to talk about? How the AI works, or the role of agency in the dogs? Can you be more specific..

I'm interested as well and go to a much better school than yours.
Which is?
