Oh man, if my girlfriend saw these then...I'd...have a girlfriend.

Thanks Nintendogs, you've ruined my day and probably my life.

On that note, sadly, playing with your Nintendog in the park probably wouldn't have the same effect as playing with a real dog.

Oh I don't know, maybe one day a girl will see you baby-talking and rubbing your DS and give you some pity attention. Or call the police. Whatever, either way it's human contact.

... :lol

That was so lame it became funny.

I suppose it's too much to hope that those are mini-flasks around their necks.

I'm going off on a limb here, but this game is going to sell close to 3 million in japan alone. This game could literaly set the DS off to unbeleiveable heights, I'm talking GBA sales here people. This is going to be soooooooooooooooooo huge in japan alone. In the states, I'm not so sure, it might be a little too quirky or could go over HUGE for kids 8-12'ish that want to own a pet but parents won't allow it. This game has NO
DEMOGRAPHIC, yet it includes EVERY DEMOGRAPHIC. The world is about to be set on fire with this game, just watch and see.

Didn't wait long enough for second post.

That pouch (sans strap) is kind of cool, in a gay way. I want one

They are really going to storm japan with this shit aren't they? =/

Would you like to bet your account on it?

i sure will, but you will have to wait until the DS is long gone and they stop producing nintendogs. so thats going to be at least a year or two. but yes, take me up on that bet.

I like the goods more than the game!

BTW Nintendo is shite!

Although I definitely agree that it will take Japan by storm, I think that's being a bit optimistic. I expect it will likely sell quite well up front and have unusual legs for a Japanese title. I think a million units (all three versions combined) is well within reach, but the userbase isnt big enough to support sales of 3 million. Combined with the fact that titles typically fall off so fast there, I see 1.5 million as an absolute ceiling for this title.

I think the peripheral sales will do quite well though and I fully expect Nintendo has already contacted animation companies in regards to a TV series for down the line.

i wonder if i can train my "Drinky" too hump my leg?

My other half heard about this a while back, she's not really into the "cute" things (more into Halo and that sort of thing) but we were in our local store and she was busy bitching about how she wouldn't buy it. We turn around and there is a video running of it on one of the screens...

...."okay, maybe i will buy it then"

sucker!

*yes - i will be, just trying to decide which pack has the dogs with the least fur (easier to wash if they get anything 'sticky' on them)

Woah, are you sure about this? 3 million in Japan is like a little worse than Dragon Quest (biggest game in Japan) numbers.

With the right advertising this game could be huge.

It really needs online dog battle and racing modes though.

I heard rumours of celebrity dogs in Nintendogs... Paris Hiltons Tinkerbell being one.
Can that be a e3 suprise?
