Hmmm...there seems to be a lot of spin against the PS3 in recent days. Might be that another console is launching? Look at these:

PlayStation 3 may not offer full backwards compatibility

In brief - old, Sony hasn't announced anything, an open business model != PS2 Online, Sony has in fact acknowledged MS's achievements with Live and hinted they took it into consideration when considering PS3 online plans.

But as always, we'll see when they finally do announce it.

It's true, anything negative said about the Ps3 ever is MS' doing. As a matter a fact, MS was responsible for the boomerang controller. Remember the recent rejected 360 design topic which contained controller prototypes? It conveniently contained a boomerang controller!

The proof is all there people! Think about it!

But... it's news to me... so here's my 2 cents...

I don't think there is anything Sony can do to lose this generation of the console war. If they do not make an unified online system, it will be a big mistake. Xbox Live is the reason that Xbox has been as much of a success as it is. Sony is watching...
