More so than anything I'm going to love the rock formations this game comes up with. Kind of wish this game had a proper photo-mode, but I guess the ps4 share button works well enough.

Man I haven't been this excited for a game release since I was 16 and it was the summer before N64. It's been a crazy journey to get here and we have yet to leave our starting planet.

Well I got a dispatch note from Simplygames on friday and it arrived on Saturday. I've been away the weekend so only got chance to play a bit of it last night. Loving it.
I don't think there is any concrete confirmation either way, but gaffers who got it early seem to think it's 30fps, at least on PS4.

Patch notes come out..
I'm hoping we get the patch soon that reviewers get, else it'll be a long wait until wednesday EU time.

Those streams aren't doing the game justice. Good job hello games.
And while already present in the early build as evidenced by that screen, it's great the patch is going to add more scenarios of extreme weather.
I caved and broke my media blackout to take a peek at those screens and I'm legit shook.
Those pics are just beautiful and my mind is racing with all the possibilities of different environments we will see.
And the patch is gonna make the game even prettier right?

Yup it's 30fps on PS4. Solid though I had no drops below 30fps on pre-patch NMS. It has a bit of hitching when you save your game for like a second or two. But other than that it's pretty darn smooth

I've had it since Saturday, 100% it isn't 60fps.
I think the frame rate might actually be unlocked, but it looks to be around the 30 mark most of the time.

It is definitely not 60FPS, that is concretely confirmed. It seems a solid 30, you can even see that in streams. After playing it for hours it defo aint 60 lol

It's out on Wednesday, if they're sticking to the rules expect a shipping notification tomorrow. I imagine they'll ship it today though.
Got my shipping notification from GAME at the weekend but I know every single time I've ordered from GAME the shipping notification is just a downright lie and infact the game doesn't ship until the day before. GAME always follow the strict rules when it comes to shipping. Never early anymore.

There were one or two who thought that but numerous who recognise its 30. When you play it you will see its clearly not 60. Still feels very smooth considering the scope of it all.

I'm honestly rather surprised it's not 60fps; I haven't seen anything in NMS that should really tax the PS4's GPU. I guess it's because Hello is using their own engine (I believe heavily-modified Unity engine). Sean must be disappointed he couldn't get it to 60.

I don't think it's a matter of visuals and GPU grunt, but rather complicated algorithms and the CPU being taxed by the procedural generation.

I ordered from Simply on Friday and went for the pretty expensive Saturday delivery - it arrived on Saturday at 2.30pm.
I think I ordered MGSV from Simply and it arrives the day after if you order before 2pm, so I think you'll be fine for tomorrow!
The hype is well deserved man, even the pre-patch game is awesome

The game looks great on PS4. The only issue is noticeable pop-in while flying through the atmosphere, but you spend most of your time on the ground or in space so it's not a super biggie.
And they're improving draw distance with the patch tomorrow anyway
