No Man's Sky: Voyagers Update Announced

You know have put so many hours trying to like this guy but to me, its just a very shallow game, there is nothing really interesting going on other than grinding and it doesn't do anything particularly good. Exploration is boring and repetitive, gunplay is awful, planet variety is really lacking, once you see 7-8 planets you have seen them all.

I just dont think this game is great and I dont even understand why it has such a big community supporting in the first place

Wow I agree papi

I bought the game. I've tried to get into it like half a dozen times now. It just doesn't click with me. I hate the graphics to begin with, but also the idea of having an infinite universe to explore but the game rewards mostly 90% long periods of sedentary grinds is just stupid game design imo, its pointless.

I'm glad for those who like the game, I can't critique the support Hello games have done to it. But it's not for me. And I own almost every goddamn space games.

Mentioned NMS always runs discount whenever they update and it gets on the Top10 [even Top3, but there's tough competition now] on the Steam Global Top Selling chart.
This time they made it to #5 highest grossing for awhile. Martin works on the game.

The Japanese game developer mind can't comprehend this way of supporting a game long term.

As many other gameplay mechanics ship building also becomes too grindy way too fast if you don't have the money. 10M went poof in like 10 minutes just to build a super simple one-man ship.
But otherwise it's a fantastic update. This was needed for me to jump back in. Now I just need to figure out how to best earn money in this iteration.

This is a good video. I may jump back in to this game now, it finally looks like the original game that they promised for the most part. My kid is really into space and rockets and shit at the moment so looks like the kind of game we may enjoy playing together.

I can wholeheartedly still recommend this game after playing it for the last nine years.
Jump in, sample the gameplay elements you like, leave the rest you don't like...if you've had enough, take a break, come back after a couple of months/updates to do it all over again and discover something you might like more than you thought you would.
If your kid is into space, the seamless travel and exploration might be mind blowing. It was for me in the beginning.
Hello Games deserves support and and eye for future projects :messenger_peace:
