Nokia N70 to support N-Gage games?

I'm hearing stuff that Snakes 3D comes free built into the phone. As you know Snakes 3D was a N-gage only release. Any of the gaming mag/website people here know anything?

You can already play N-gage games on any Series 60 phone. It's just not nice or legal to do so.

Some people are saying it may do it legally. Which is a first. Snakes 3D preloaded onto the phone or memory card sounds plausible as the N-Gage platform will also be a downloadable service.

I am not really sure, but I wouldn't be surprised. Midway, are you there?
Here I come, ready or not..! :p

I made a thread about this during E3 back in May.
The first Nokia smartphones to support the new Nokia mobile gaming solution are expected to be in the market during the first half of 2006. Additional information on the title launch portfolio is expected to be available in September 2005. The goal is to have a broad spectrum of games to suit all tastes - from casual 'quick fix' gaming to more in-depth multi-user games.
So no, I dont think N70 will support original N-Gage games. :\ btw, now that it seems Nokia is ditching MMC format (N-Gage games currently come on MMC cards), will the N-Gage cart format also change? Or will they move towards downloadable N-Gage games?

N70 and earlier have already ditched full size MMCs, moving to DV-RSMMC. So Ngage games wouldn't physically fit any S60 phones released from now on

Ah. So Snakes 3D could just be a one off as a free built in game for Nokia phones.

I think the N-gage format will change. Probably use newer and better hardware as Nokia seem to be implying. The Q1 2006 phones will be likely be higher spec than any of the current phones. Right now 6630 to N91 use the same processor. N91 is also moving to V9 Symbian OS. So i think its a big hardware change.
