Non-licensed pre-dominantly black protagonists in videogames

I'm just wondering, besides GTA:San Andreas, were there any other videogames where the main character was black and the person was an original IP, not licensed. (i.e no Shaq, M Jackson, M Jordon).

Urban Chaos and Shellshock come to mind.

Shadowman is licensed. The shitty video games were based off the shitty "gangsta" re-imaging of a formerly interesting, if not awfully dressed superhero. :P

Forgotten Worlds

Of course, he was relegated to Player 2 status, but still co-main character. I'm having a hard time thinking of a SOLO lead character.

Sadly, this racial violence didn't make the console cut.

So... is Urban Chaos the only game with a lead black character who is non-licensed IP? Most of the examples here are when someone appears as part of a team/ensemble. Most of the time, it appears that the black character is just to fill the third slot, after anti-hero white guy and D-cup white girl are filled.

Akuji f*ckin rocked... plus he was voiced by Shaft.... major cool points.

Spike, Spike Jr (Spikeout, Spikeout Battlestreet)
Adam, Eddie/Skate (Streets of Rage series)
Shadow, Knuckles (Sonic) :lol
