What a truly brilliant achievement this game was. I can remember the anticipation watching these trailers(a million times):

However, as far as SH trailers are concerned, SH4 is THE king. The E3 Silent Hill 4 trailer was absolutely mindblowing to the point that it painted the game as something it was not.![]()
OK, I just looked at the entire Fall trailer and there ARE a couple CG shots in there (when they show the characters up close, mainly). However, I was specifically thinking of the first part of the trailer (when that creature first comes to life in front of James).mckmas8808 said:Hold on WTF what I seen wasn't CG?

Whoa whoa WHOA..."have" to? Come on, man, SH2 is a must play. They are both so cheap, I think you should do both of them. Hell, if you haven't played SH1, play that as well (as SH3 is a direct sequel to SH1, while 2 is completely unrelated).mckmas8808 said:But SH3 looks so much better in screenshots that I want to buy that game instead. Do I have to buy SH2? :'(
Actually, the PS2 version is a bit better looking and more polished than the XBOX version (though the XBOX version has a nice perpixel flashlight beam)...so you'll be fine.I'm sure there are flaws to SH2, but its one of those games that has such a high quality to it that it's perfect to me.
I played SH2 Restless Dreams on the Xbox, and have since sold my Xbox but I bought the PS2 version so I can go through it again sometime. I hope that the experience is the same.
