Selling joycons for $90 is too good a business to solve the problem on Switch 2, drift problems will continue.
It must feel good to be richAt least they are detachable and replaceable, that's the only saving grace when it comes to these things.
The lube probably keeps them working just fine until a few weeks after the warranty expires.
BanAdd this to the OP then, debunking this "news"
Not the same design… debunked.

Well, it certainly makes it more palatable for the consumers to take it up the ass, so good on Nintendo.Yeah it's looking like all they did was add Lube, NOT JOKING!
I don't think any of the big three use (or have ever used?) hall effect or TMR in the controllers that come with the consoles.Ready to drift?
Unfortunately it seems the Joycon 2 has the same quality level and internals as the Joycon 1.
Please, discuss.
PS3 controllers used Hall Effect sticks.I don't think any of the big three use (or have ever used?) hall effect or TMR in the controllers that come with the consoles.
And so saying it uses the same tech (ie no magnets) and so therefore will have drift, doesn't make sense, as there are plenty of other controllers that don't have drift.
I'm not saying the Switch 2 will be drift free, but this isn't really proof of anything.
Why do this when they know that 90% of their fans ll just buy a new U$90 joycon to replace the bad one ?I find it hard to believe that Nintendo would lack the brain power to put themselves in a position where they spend a fuck ton of money having to repair/replace Joycons after what happened with the Switch. I'd assume that they would make enough changes to the controller to help prevent drift as much as possible. Time will tell I guess.
read his off topic posts and you can see he's had to deal with brain damage from alcohol
Joyconn best tham dualse se PS5 garbage, joyconn no drifit good goooord drum ahahahah
Some people thinks that Hall effect joystick is a new thing… The Dreamcast controllers have this and suffered others issues.I don't think any of the big three use (or have ever used?) hall effect or TMR in the controllers that come with the consoles.

Bowser made a thread about his condition, is well known here.
Not only can you infer head trauma by reading posts, you can also infer the type ?
Dr House would love your diagnostic abilities.
Anyway Bowser is what he is and neogaf accepts it because it is actually a welcoming community (as long as you are not a total and utter moron), and not because of some performative reason like "we let him shit in the middle of the living room because he is disabled" like the purple wankers would.
AlsoShaki12345 you are allowed to mock anyone endlessly if you don't like their schtick which is great.. Its better than playing no fun francine asking people to stop having fun.
Case in point :
Oh no, the brain worm is spreading!Joyconn best tham dualse se PS5 garbage, joyconn no drifit good goooord drum ahahahah
I haven't been able to find any confirmation that they did (only that they are using some kind of magnets) and this post on reddit suggests it wasn't hall effect, but I am not an expert. I wouldn't be surprised though, it was the PS3 after all.PS3 controllers used Hall Effect sticks.
it also used dog noses for the padding, fuck the PS3 controllers!PS3 controllers used Hall Effect sticks.
I doubt that as my DS3 has drift.PS3 controllers used Hall Effect sticks.
Joyconn best tham dualse se PS5 garbage, joyconn no drifit good goooord drum ahahahah
Not all models used em according to this.I doubt that as my DS3 has drift.
I know dude i even posted in it.Bowser made a thread about his condition, is well known here.
VRR can help with inconsistent framerate. No VRR doesn't help with inconsistent framerates.VRR doesn't improve frame rates.
No actual reports(yet) of the joycons being identical.
Screen is good considering it's tech.
Who cares if you like it or the games?
I doubt that as my DS3 has drift.
No it doesn't.VRR can help with inconsistent framerate. No VRR doesn't help with inconsistent framerates.
We don't have VRR.
All consoles should have controllers with HAL.I don't think any of the big three use (or have ever used?) hall effect or TMR in the controllers that come with the consoles.
And so saying it uses the same tech (ie no magnets) and so therefore will have drift, doesn't make sense, as there are plenty of other controllers that don't have drift.

maybe it will drift more? :VWe knew that Nintendo redesigned the joycons but without using tech that would fundamentally prevent drift. Whether it will be a widespread problem again is anyone's guess.
Is going to get worse… Trust me.Thanks for the correction to the OP. So sad.
How far will people go to lie on Nintendo and try to sabotage them? Good thing it won't work.
They covered the launch on the Today show yesterday.
Oh goodness, the Xbot shills have been replaced by a handful of Nintendo chodes on here.Lol a random sourceSwitch 2 haters working full time today… Is going to be ok guys.

You mean the "pro" controller with no Hall Effect sticks that will start drifting anyway? The situation is bad for the "main three" and you need a third party controller in all cases for some peace of mind which is a terrible look.I mean, if you're a pro, you use the Pro Controller anyway. It's in the name.

What made me laugh is the other dude making it seems that you could understand bowser had alcohol related brain trauma by reading their posts.

Bro. I just posted some Reddit threads. I'm no technical expert. Thanks for the correction to the OP. So sad.

You know what OP, your take sucks, your reposting sucks, i literally had a thread reporting that the Joy-Con 2's felt improved (It was a literal AMA) which you ignored and yet on release day you come out and post the dankest of threads for quick clout.Ready to drift?

I am using the Switch 2 as we speak and you're right mate. You know what OP, your take sucks, your reposting sucks, i literally had a thread reporting that the Joy-Con 2's felt improved (It was a literal AMA) which you ignored and yet on release day you come out and post the dankest of threads for quick clout.
This is willingly ignoring things at best and just downright misinforming people at worst.
I am saying it's good considering it's IPS.When would a screen not be tech?
