It would be nice if guys today were competitive and wanted the top spot.
We need to watch a different show for that.
Hell, they don't even hate each other and feud over shit.
They just want to show up, have fun and kiss the asses of whomever's in charge while breaking meaningless records and trading wins back and forth.

Pretty much, they want to be liked and want to be in all of the pictures of everyone and this bullshit.

Fuck. Hate me, idgaf but I want the top spot. Fuck being a role player.

Just getting back from Raw. I think I might be all Wrassle'd out for a while... That being said, holy shit @ Owens/Rollins. That was insane. Easily one of the best Raw matches in a long while and one of the best I've seen in person.

I was pretty close to where Rollins dove from the top and that was just fucking insanity. Lots of respect for him, his cardio is fucking otherworldly. Otherwise, pretty pedestrian show. I loved the Highlight reel segment, Jeric-KO are fucking legendary as a duo. Just two top-notch talkers at the peak of their game. Braun fucking sucks and his squash of Sami killed the crowd off.

Had a great weekend. Hope they come back sooner than another decade from now.

THE ECW SHOOTOUT AT HIGH NOON WAS A THING

It's actually a good comparison though. It's sad though. You can tell these guys all really miss ECW. Can't say I blame them. I still miss it to this day.
I just wish that one day in 98 or 99 we actually took a chance and ordered an ecw ppv. Watching it now, it doesn't have the it factor to me anymore. But as a 6 or 7 year old, wow I could only imagine what I would've said. That's probably my biggest wrestling regret. Other than forcing my mom to take me to events.

Buying some compilation tapes was a treasure trove for me back then.... loved those matches... I followed it online and through WOW wrestling mag, and watched ECW on TNN religiously

Yup. Tommy said flat out was Paul a scumbag at times. That's the one thing. Paul and those around him have never denied that he was underhanded as fuck at times.

Absolutely and if he wasn't the company would have died earlier, hell Heyman being a borderline pathological liar is how he bluffed his way through the business from day 1. It;'s pretty impressive.

The Heyman doc tells a nice story about how Heyman put off declaring bankruptcy by 90 days so the tax man wouldn't take what cheques he did pay out to the wrestlers...

So sometimes he lies t protect himself and other tie he lies to protect his boys... Heyman is complicated.

The only thing I had was ecw on tnn and the video games. All of the shit I saw late night on the ppv channel, I never got to witness it and I still haven't. I tell, you I thought I was going to get in trouble even looking at those ecw promos. I thought it was porn.
Blue, start up the time machine? Next Destination, ECWVille?
Yeah it's time to get started again. I just have to make through 93,it's tough.

Out of all of the part timer runs, Goldberg is already by far my favorite. The Rock's new personality was horrible, Brock's suplexes and Heyman's promos got far too annoying, and the Undertaker looks like hell.

On the other hand, Goldberg's run has recaptured exactly what made him great 15 years ago, and he added great promos without the need of a hypeman.

Exactly. He did what he had to do for the company.

Living the gimmick

I don't watch Fox news.

Fox Business...

It came up in my YouTube suggestions...

Honestly wrestlers are almost literally the last people I want to hear talk politics because I'm convinced almost all of them are likely terrible people lol, except maybe some of the newer guys, and maybe some of the Canadians but I doubt that even

That Paul Heyman apology to Stephanie might legit be one of the worst raw promos I have ever seen in my life.

Pretty annoyed at how sami is being treated like garbage on this show. I suspect it's that trump tweet he made. Hopefully he goes to smackdown so at least they can give him a decent run

Edit: excelsior I'm pretty sure xavier woods and sami zayn are genuinely agreeable but thats prolly about it

What did Ziggler say this time?

Protesters were millenials looking for attention, wanting to be in the moment and that this wasn't the way to do it. And that they're all idiots who don''t know anything except what celebs online told them...

And that people are just there to snapchat and hashtag...

It was in response to the Oregon news that a bunch of them didn't vote. Which fine is a valid criticism but it was just patronizing.

Figures...

Zayn's gimmick is all about being the down and out underdog. Like...there's nothing behind the scenes about this because he's getting at least some resemblance of a storyline. I know it's a joke to say wait and see and I might sound like a fool saying it but....let's wait and see on this one.

God damn it at all these politics posts. Sunflower McMahon didn't die for this.

Yeah if he was getting punished they wouldn't have out him in the IC match at the PPV let alone run a screwjob finish to set up a rematch.

I think Zayn for Corbin is a likely trade.

Damn I need to stop looking up wrestlers' political thoughts...

John Cena went on Hannity and made fun of Obama using a teleprompter... BE A STAR!

That said Seth Rollins is pro BLM so that's cool, makes up for dating a nazi I guess.

That ECW roundtable needed an extra hour, Corey Graves was a horrible host, and it should have started with everyone at the table.

So much promise, some great stories but everything was cut short...

Still loves it but fuck I wanted more.

That said ECW out carnies just about anything else in wrestling... fascinating company

Tommy Dreamer is a beautiful man.

Heyman is the most fascinating man in wrestling

no one

NO ONE

Seems odd just to bring Goldberg back to pop a few ratings without putting anyone over, roster is already lacking credibility. Bringing up Joe or Nakamura and having them out battle Goldberg would instantly put them up with the main eventers.

I just hope it isn't Triple H going over Goldberg at Mania
