I have to say, I was highly entertained the entire weekend. I felt like I got my money's worth for the price of admission overall.

Now don't take too long to bring an event back to Toronto. I don't just want house shows.

The crowd didn't seem too bizarro land this time, I bet they bring it back.

PROGRESS Marty is king. That Theme.

some poor bastard should have to stack rank every Scurll vs Ospreay match from this year. I've missed a fair few, wonder if any topped the January Rev Pro match.

*goes to check Cagematch*

Cagematch only had 5, plus the ROH one that isn't on there yet, I thought there were more than that.

RIP, my goddamn notifications haha.

The craziest thing about that match is that from the moment Bryan yelled "I DO NOT SUCK!" those kids were chanting "YOU SUCK!" non-fucking-stop for 25 minutes or so. It barely even mattered what Davey did in there, because the crowd were SO behind him simply because it would've made their day to see Bryan lose.

Yep, FIP is easily Bryan's best heel work. I'd even say it's where he learned how to connect with a crowd.

Yeah, he already knew how to draw energy from a crowd, but interacting with them was always his weakest spot - the FIP run did wonders for him, plus it was also super obvious that he was having so much fun playing a dastardly heel after being the clean-cut good guy for so long.

The entire run of Monday Night Raw will be on the Network by the end of the year.

They are currently working on completing 2010 and 2011 and that bring it up to date with what was already there.

It's a shame that most of that footage will be lost in the archives because FIP even now isn't that well known, and then it might as well have been a local indie.

FloSlam already have the Best of Punk in FIP and a show with Dusty from 2003 up on their site, so hopefully there's more to come - there's a ton of great, underappreciated stuff from that era that deserves to be seen.

The show I watched last night had a goddamn killer Strong vs Sydal match that entirely held up to the 2016 indie standard - would've blown the roof off Reseda.

Roderick Strong was a beast in FIP. There's a reason they made him their workhorse champion for a year or so.

Glad that FloSlam is getting some of that though. I'm curious to know how much of that stuff Gabe still has the master tapes for.

Hopefully they'll start uploading more midsouth, surely that can't be all they have.

Taker and AJ is the right feud for both men. Though if Cena is back and good to go I could see them doing Cena/Taker instead.

Also, Goldberg should fucking destroy Brock again. cause fuck Brock.

I can't wait to relive the glory days of 2006 Smackdown where Booker, Lashley, Finley and Batista were in constant tag match rotation while Orton settled down ever month for a taped Undertaker Promo.
Meanwhile the rest of the roster were mostly complete goobers.
ONLY ON THE WWE NETWORK, eventually.

Who is ready for the Braun vs big show feud?

I have been wondering where Big Show vanished to.
I miss my "WEEEEEEEEELL" followed by a sinking in the stomach.

The guy that did the Vice doc just posted "The Ten Most Surprising Things I Saw At Tournament Of Death"

When we went to return the rental van, the employee inspecting it for damages freaked when he looked on the vehicle's roof and saw it was caked with blood and scratched beyond belief. I wanted to tell him it was from that moment when Ricky Shane Page and Tim Donst fought on top of it, but instead I said I didn't know what had happened and it was OK because we paid for the insurance.

For some fans, this passion manifests itself differently, like the offerings brought by the audience for a "fans bring the weapons" match. The wrestlers tell of fans in years past bringing everything razor-sharp homemade Rambo-style knives to actual guns in the hopes of seeing the implements used on an opposing wrestler. Thankfully this year it was limited non-lethal weapons, the bulk of which are different variations and combinations of lightbulbs, tacks, and old sports equipment. But what does it say of the fan that spends the night before the tournament painstakingly gluing rattraps to a child's orange plastic bat with dreams of seeing it used to harm another human being?

So when I went to the ultra violent and thus ultra-painful TOD, my assumption was there would be locker room full of drugs.

To my surprise, I didn't see any, not even weed (and believe me I was REALLY hoping to see some weed!). In fact, half the locker room, like the previously mentioned Jeff Cannonball, identify as straight-edge. That is not to say that the other half of the locker room are teetotalers, but for someone raised on stories of wrestlers in the WCW locker room openly trading pills, to not see anything was a shock (like, c'mon, not even weed?!?!)

DJ told us that he met his wife Lauren at a wrestling show where she had come to interview wrestler AJ Styles. Then a wrestling fan, Lauren would marry DJ and quickly lose the love for pro wrestling.

And while certainly not in love with his vocation, Lauren is undoubtedly in love with DJ enough to put up with the all consuming lifestyle that CZW requires. She is a massive fan of Disney who would no doubt prefer hanging at the Magic Kingdom with Mickey and Minnie than an UltraViolent Arena with Masada and Zandig (Routinely, Disney-related chants are used by the knowing CZW fanbase to mock the much despised DJ Hyde). She is the one that supports DJ as he continues to do whatever it takes for CZW to survive and she is the one who helps put him back together after a Deathmatch.

Just some highlights......that rental van story is cray though.

Why am I seeing rumors that they're gonna reveal Becky to have attacked Nikki?

The guilty party should be Brie, followed by any of the following: Natalya or Carmella.

Becky might be an interesting choice if only there was some reason for it. And I don't mean it was because Nikki was chosen as team captain over Becky for a match with no significance.

RAW was fun. Had three of my friends that were there subscribe to the Network, so I guess the promos worked.

The Owens/Y2J highlight reel was absolutely hilarious.

I am worried that Tye will be buried for the "Ten" chant exploding, which went from fun to distracting to actively taking away from the Owens/Rollins main event.

But any CM Punk chant was ignored pretty quickly, so I give the Toronto RAW crowd an 8 put of.... I give them Four Stars.

I remember a FIP show I was at in pretty much a barn. They got kicked out of their scheduled venue for a cattle show. Danielson was in a six-man tag with Shingo and someone else. There was a dragonfly buzzing around their corner, and Bryan started freaking out and jumped off the apron, playing it up that he was scared shitless of the dragonfly. It was hilarious.

Is Smackdown in Toronto tonight? I think the whole ten chant is probably just something the Toronto crowd did and probably won't continue once they leave there.

It was nice at first and I'm sure Tye must love hearing it but I hope it doesn't catch on since it got annoying the more and more it happened.

I did laugh at Sheamus stopping the chest hits like a heel so the crowd couldn't chant it.

The eight winners will then be in Style Battle Season Finale on the ninth event of the season. This will determine the Style Battle Champion of that season. In the event that all the winners aren't available, Style Battle will pick an "all star" substitute who impressed in a previous tournament.

"Tournaments can provide drama and excitment unlike anything else in wrestling," WWN VP Of Talent Relations & Creative Gabe Sapolsky said. "This will be a unique opportunity for upcoming wrestlers, today's stars and veterans looking to prove something to showcase their wrestling style."

"This adds more diversity to the WWN lineup on FloSlam," WWN President Sal Hamaoui said. "FloSlam will now have Style Battle, EVOLVE, FIP, SHINE, ACW and WWN Supershows. Each brand will bring something different to the Network. This gives the fans even more value for their money."
