The Paul Walker thread appears to be full of landmines for some reason. Haven't figured out why they're banning people though.

so it's interesting watching Raw replays

seeing what they edit out when they do the taped version that's only an hour

we get pretty much the whole Cena/Orton promo

without the Daniel Bryan chants, so it's weird when Cena mentions chants that aren't even happening in the audio mix

Sometimes, WWE seems like a company at war with itself. All of this self-revisionist crap smooths out the product as far as showing us how it was intended to be viewed, but it only makes the shows seem more directionless as a result. It's even more pronounced with these three-week PPV builds. Few stories gel, rarely does anything intentionally lead into a big payoff and the very few things that do string together into a story are either strung out to a slow death or so formulaic and predictable that no one cares. Company's in dire need of a quality cohesive vision and some conviction behind it to see it play out successfully.

Just watched the WWE Vintage episode about Goldberg's streak. I didn't realize that when he was stunned by Hall that his match against Nash was actually no DQ...there were ZERO hardcore spots in the match, and it was basically a regular bout until the stun gun at the end. Kind of dumb. And I'm also amazed by how fast some of the main events seemed, and how slowly and botchedly the older guys worked in those days. I guess we just ignored it because we were kids.

I drifted off to sleep dreaming that Hulk Hogan returned to the WWE as #30 in the Royal Rumble. He won because he wasn't physically able to take the bump over the top rope.

Was there an Iron Sheik tweet that was like, "Fuck the Hulk Hogan, that how I win at WM17 jabroni"?

Davey Richards has left ROH;

Former ROH World champion Davey Richards says he has parted ways from Ring of Honor and will not be part of "Final Battle" later this month.

"With a heavy heart I can announce I announce that myself and ROH have parted ways for good and I will not be at Final Battle. Please continue to support them and the incredible talent they have. Thanks for the memories. It was an amazing ride," read the message posted Saturday night on Richards's Facebook page.

I'm guessing WWE will be signing The Wolves/Pitbulls soon.

Watching the latest PWG show 'Matt Rushmore', first couple of matches were real fun, especially Steen vs ACH - here's a few gifs...

I love the pounce. Best striking finisher IMO. Even when you know it's coming because of the set-up, it still hits you like a mack truck and you're usually worn down and can't do anything to stop it.

Yeah, it looks great with the right opponent - I wish someone in WWE were using it currently, as I'm sure Rollins & Ziggler could do an impressive bump from it.

Is that a sign that it's really bothering them then? Everyone who saw Survivor Series and Raw live would know about the chants. How significant is the part of their audience that only watches one-hour Raw?
