Just a quick missive, last month there was a big round up post with all of the leaks handily put together. I would advise against doing that from now on. I'm not trying to backseat mod or anything like that and the posts are helpful, but I do get the feeling that it may lead to another anti-leak crackdown by NPD. NPD tolerate a certain level of leaks but to make them easy to find and easy to publicise probably isn't a great idea. Far too many games have slipped from October, there is going to be a massive decline over last year. Last year had BF4, ACIV, and continued sales of GTAV. The trend will probably end in November though, when we have a number of huge releases including COD, Dragon Age, AC:U, Far Cry 4, MCC, and most likely the GTAV remaster. From then on I think we are going to continue to see growth as more software is sold in December to more owners of new consoles, and the first few months of 2015 are absolutely packed when they are normally barren by comparison.

Yeah. You are probably right. Didn't remember that November was thaaat packed this year (especially if GTA comes out too). During Q1 we should at least see rather big yoy increases like you said as this year Q1 was so dead release wise.

Yeah it is not good to take the insider info we get and combine the info in a single place. They are certainly watching these threads.

Hm, it's not like many folks go and report on your summaries though... they're typically so much after the thread starts that no one cares to report them. I've never seen your summaries posted on a major site for example.

I have the same when people post "*** numbers please" pointing them into the right direction. I'm guilty of that as well and if anyone thinks I say too much don't be afraid to say so.

Maybe some guidelines so we know what we can and cannot say. Kinda like when juniors on NPD day state their predictions as if they are facts

Fifa sells way more in the USA than Madden does in Europe. Here is sales data from Fifa 13. These are NA numbers but the bulk of sales would be from the USA. Not close to European numbers but definitely respectable.

The franchise seems to be growing year over year as well. I'll be a new convert this year as I plan to purchase Fifa 15 on PS4.

Random tip: if you click on the reply count for a thread, it opens up a pop-up with post counts in that thread for each poster. If you click on the post count for a given poster, it displays all of their posts in that thread. So it's really not difficult to find all of the leaks if you know which users to search for.
