Holy shit, this mean Star Wars bundle sold around 600,000... that's insane.
And yeah, Star Wars up compared to last month is very good.
Thanks for your infos, Mulcair.
Just to know, does NPD tracked the Rise of The Tomb Raider Xbox One bundle that was exclusive to Best Buy? If yes, could you provide us a range of sales?
It really is just a massive success. They need to get that DLC pumping out ASAP though
Numbers
I just love how all the "battlefield bombed" people have gone pretty silent. It's hard to even make a case it underperformed, really.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare U.S. physical retail sell-through:
November 2014 NPD Report: 4.66 million (including bundles)
December 2014 NPD Report: 2.84 million (including bundles)
Call of Duty: Black Ops III U.S. physical retail sell-through:
November 2015 NPD Report: 4.89 million (including bundles)
December 2015 NPD Report: 3.44 million (including bundles)
Furthermore, Call of Duty: Black Ops III is also higher than its predecessor in both December and lifetime-to-date through 2015 when we look at individual SKU rankings excluding bundles.

You just got hardlinedoops I meant battlefront lol
It seems like the Star Wars hype was worth investing into! It seems both Sony and Disney just finished with a very successful partnership.

Do you also love how all the "MGS V is a megablockbuster" people have gone quiet too?
Why doesn't EA deserved to be mentioned?

EA was dragged into the partnership because of Disney and Sonys relationship. Of it weren't for Disney it would have been given to microsft by default like the majority of all their games. Why doesn't EA deserved to be mentioned?
Didn't Harker say that the nothing came close to the Gears bundle? Gears was the vast majority of the Xbox One's sold in that case if it sold better than the SW bundle.
Including bundles, did Gears outsell Halo? If not, how close?
If anything, it proves imo how misguided their strategy of multiplying bundles at $399 and above was.
In the end, it's the $349 bundle that was brought down to $299 that was -the- attractive bundle.
The only other bundle at $349, the Lego one, baffles me still to this day (and I don't think I ever saw it charting on Amazon), while the Holiday bundle did chart but nowhere near Gears.
Same for Fallout 4 bundle at $399 really, a missed opportunity, and let's not even talk about the unavailable anywhere but Best Buy Tomb Raider one at $399...
LTD up to this point:
PS4 12.4m (DEC '15) - eclipses closest competitor
PS3 6.8m (DEC '08) - holding steady year over year while being leap-frogged by competition
PS2 13.0m (NOV '02) - about to reach its biggest month ever
PS1 4.6m (OCT '97) - surging following FFVII release
Add 2.5 million to the PS2.
And yet some would still go "DOOOOOOMED, I don't think PS4 can hit 90 million, let alone 100."
This despite the fact that it's practically crossing streams with the PS2 again and doing #1 in other markets

that's also a $199 PS2 vs a $349 with a couple of weeks at $300 PS4.
When projecting worldwide sales you need to remember that after 6 years ps2 was at 100million, and that's doable by ps4. The legs after the gen ends will make the real difference.
If this chart is accurate it's had it's third November at least as it launched in October, so 2.5m seems too high for just December 2002, unless you mean total.
The PS2 sold 2.73M in December 2002 in the US.
Biggest December ever was the Wii at 3.8M. 2008 or 2009 can't remember.

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition sold well above 700K when including bundle units.
It was the most popular Xbox One SKU by far.
Was that just in December? Are you able to say what sales of Gears UE were between release in August to now including bundles?

Yes, above 800K just in December.
Yes, above 800K just in December.
5) 1,296,000 (XB1; November 2015)
6) 1,290,000 (XB1; December 2014)
So Xenoblade should hit over 500 lifetime worldwide digital plus physical wow
Make this 1,297,000
Also just noticed (well I already did, but I have a reason to post it now!) that the Xbox One's November 2015 performed just as well as it did back in December 2014 in terms of total units.
Weekly average
November 2015: 1296k / 4 weeks = 324,000
December 2014: 1297k / 5 weeks = 259,400

Hmm so the gears bundle wasn't that far ahead of the sw bundle then. I thought harker said no bundle could even come close to touching it or something?
90m is locked for PS4.
100m is in play.
