If you are talking about just the US then yes, maybe they can claw things back.
But from a global perspective? No way. The damage that they have done in some parts of Europe, the Middle East and Asia is irreparable.
No no, globally, it's over. At the present rate, it's going to be a blood bath, so I'm specifically talking about the United States, yes.
To be clear, I'm presently of the mindset that Sony will easily double Xbox One the world over. And with more passing time, I'm thinking it might be closer to triple. If Microsoft dumps Kinect and passes the savings on to the consumer (I don't expect them to bleed cash, there's no appetite for it), then they can stay closer (still behind), with most of that coming from the US and some of their better markets in Europe.
