Looks like a PS4 £5 price cut, bargain.

They'll get by like they did with 360.Superior 3rd party version of gamesKINECT!
Did Nintendo even have anything come out this month, low sales aren't a surprise. Will be interesting next month to see if MK8 saves the WiiU.
They better.
I think that this year's E3 will be Microsoft's opportunity to start to really turn things around.
Of course, I also think that this year's E3 will be Sonys opportunity to completely crush any chances Microsoft has of turning things around.
Price cut already? The age of Sony is overLooks like a PS4 £5 price cut, bargain.
Zune HD pulled through? harSon pls.
It's not only the lack of exclusives that hurts, its the PS4 marketing deals for Destiny and Watch_Dogs. There is already a Destiny PS4 commercial! Stuff like that is huge for the perception of the masses.
That's why I politely asked for assistance from my fellow GAF users who might know more about this subject.
It's not wrong to ask these questions. It's cool to know these facts.
Why? Not like the PS4 is collecting dust, they move fast.
Why cut the price of a product that is constantly selling?
I would have been glad months ago when they were publicly acting like fools to see this result. Now though? No. This is just sad.
Is there anything they can do to win a month over PS4 in 2014 at this point? The only things I can think of that might do it are either new Halo, or price change, and neither seem as exciting as Titanfall was hyped to be.
The only good kong is a dead kong. Now is the time to pick allegiances, the war of the mods is just beginning.
You are naive. Go back and look at how price competitive Sony were for PS2. They kept that advantage hanging over Microsoft and Nintendo's head for years until the gap was all but unassailablelol, no.... Sony wont be dropping price anytime soon.
You dont sell everything you produce and drop the price... those days are gone.
XB1 had Titanfall, dropped the price to $450 for the bundle and still got outsold. XB1 doing $399 changes nothing.
OH lordy, I thought I'd check out TimDog on Twitter . . . ya know . . . just 'cause . . . but he's having this conversation with @clanMOH and he's arguably more ridiculous than TimDog, LOL!!!
I don't know why people think Microsoft are going to resort to bizarre desperate measures.
The system is doing well. It's selling software.
The PS4 is simply performing better.
Do you even know what I'm arguing? My initial post that was called out was the fact that consumers should be happy that Microsoft is getting their asses handed to them, because a hungry/desperate Microsoft is good for consumers because they usually bring their A game. Whether that desperation results in financial success is an entirely different situation all together, but that's a point I'm not arguing. With that said, absofuckinglutely the Zune HD was a great piece of hardware. There's a reason it's still recommended to this day to people who are looking for a quality dedicated MP3.
Well it's Sony itself that made me ask the question. Why would any company combine their figures and not give their individual totals? That seems like awfully fishy behavior.
As far as I know they did not sort out their PS2 and PS3 numbers for almost three years. And as suggested by an article I posted earlier, they've been doing the same with their PS3 and PS4 numbers since October of last year.
I have been trying to find a source in their financial reports that sorts out the two numbers but I cannot find it myself. That's why I politely asked for assistance from my fellow GAF users who might know more about this subject.

It won't be constantly selling by Q3/4.

Where is that Final Fantasy Sony game Verendus? WHERE IS IT?!No drop this year.

sorry that you're so cheaply bought that you can't maintain an allegiance for any longer than it takes a PR lackey to paypal a tenner into your g-string.
Tim Dog owns a PS4 now. Tim Dog!
I think the question now is if MS will still fight for Titanfall 2 exclusivity.

Spoiler alert: It won't.
Why not? That's when all the big games will come out. If anything, it'll sell much better by then.
Do you take payment in the form of crayola drawings of the Vita?$20 and I'll hype up whatever you want on the PC, ghst. Let the record show: Steve Youngblood is for sale.
Maybe they're out early for easter?

Are 3DS sales so bad Nintendo can't even spin something positive there?

Still slightly more reputable than the alternatives x3$20 and I'll hype up whatever you want on the PC, ghst. Let the record show: Steve Youngblood is for sale.

@aegies 2 Million Units is close in a 5 month span?
Arthur Gies ‏@aegies 57s
@RealityPales in a third of the territories and after we haven't gotten xbox one numbers in a while? yeah. closer than i thought.

Did the 3DS have any big software this month? Besides, the system has already hit its peak, it will inevitably continue in its decline. Shame too, it's a great system.
harSon...pls.
Sony really has Microsoft in a vice strategically right now. All they need to do is clamp them hard at E3 and maybe throw in one or two major surprises, snap that to the back of a string of games that are either potentially big and have exclusive marketing deals/content on them (Watch Dogs), but other genuine exclusives that are either fairly big or promising and a beast variety of indie games like Transistor.
I really don't know what Microsoft can do to respond, since I don't think they're ready to drop Kinect just yet.
I mean we can emphasize Xbox One is still doing relatively well, but this was its biggest game release for at least the next seven months. And possibly the entire year, period. Titanfall was hyped up as the Xbox One, next generation game to get. If this is the "height" of its off-holiday months, where is the floor going to bottom out?
