NPD counts digital sales now?
How will they survive with those #s. It's over.
Amiright?
Can we get a real non-sense insider to do a proper leak?
Aqua plz....
Also: Congratz to the Xbox One and Phil. Greenberg is still a clown and needs to go.
$299.99 Xbox 1 Slim with Quantum Break and ROTB Bundle for Black Friday 2015 with a $50 gift card at Target or Walmart....count me in.

That's a huge number
1.2 mil has to be worldwide
Probably US + UKThere's something wrong...that would mean around 2.4 million consoles sold between the two, much more than the gap estimated earlier. Plus...that would be such an high November that Ms would've said the result. Something's fishy.
Not if warren is talking worldwide numbers.
I was about to ask why Pokémon was counted as two different games.I really don't get it.
Smash bros. is thrown together and pokemon gets counted individually

did you buy DA2 new and pay 59.99 for it? I did ... buying this one used. Well deserved flop. you stick your nose up at the consumer and see where it gets you.
Fuck DA. will feel great to buy it off ebay.
I said MS has that history. And I meant sales parity as in all their efforts didn't take away from the ps4s lead
Something weird about that 1.2 million number...GamesBeat said that hardware sales (actual money gained) declined over last year. Unless that is due to the price cut of give or take $150 per Xbox One console, that doesn't feel like a US number.
Wow, I'm shocked at DA:I's performance.
Hardware was down 23% YOYProbably US + UK
No way.
To those saying 'Nintendo lol wow Microsoft' etc have you not noticed that hardware sales are down almost a quarter from last year and microsoft have had to take massive hits to get the decent sales this month? I know we had two console launches last year which skews the year on year comparison a bit but I don't know how anyone can not be worried about the viability of the industry as it currently is.
So WiiU is at 3 million after two years on the market and Mario Kart and Smash have been released?
Man, will it reach 10 million lifetime?
1.2 mil has to be worldwide
I kinda thought Halo would do better. But I guess being on one platform does cut your sales potential in half.
Except I didn't say it would save the Wii U. The post I replied to said Wii U had no big releases for 2015. Zelda is a big release. Stop reading into things for no reason.
You know what happened to that guy in the end, right?
That would be way too low if those were WW numbers.
US + UK? Could be actually right. We know One sold around 180,000 in two weeks in UK, possibly around 250,000 - 300,000 for the whole month, then 900,000 - 950,000 in US sounds right.
Wow, I'm shocked at DA:I's performance.
Who's Twitter account is that?
you sure enough did. Your musings are incredibly important it seems to me, they tend to be impressively accurate, relatively speaking. You really do have a good finger on at least the vague outline of the pulse of the NPD monthly results based on the numbers you can access.
I already considered your musings very important for predicting any given month's numbers, but now I think they've increased in value even further.
The fact remains that this was the first game of the regular season and xbox eked out a victory in overtime. You guys can rationalize all you want but it doesn't change the fact that Xbox is now 1-0 and Playstation is 0-1.
Hardware was down 23% YOY
I bought an Xbox One with Kinnect, Master chief collection, all for 250 this month. Keep your eyes peeled mang
Why is this surprising?
Has a Black Friday ever went by when the amount of consoles sold wasn't this high? This is totally expected. If anything my initial estimate is much lower than what I was expecting.
