is Sony even going to say anything tonight?
Oh really? So 7k-10k doesn't mean anything?7k-10k difference? Might as well be a tie lol.
No wonder MS are still quiet about it. All those sales, discounts, MCC, bundles, etc. All that for only 7k-10k win.
December Sony must be killing again with that 20th bundle as well as others.
Anyone else thinking the Wii U is too pricey?
Is $199 price point more fitting?
More like:
PS4 = Jupp Heynckes's FC Bayern Munich
Yea, that's what I was referring to.
Xbox won't be going anywhere because I have yet to hear about any legit investor complaining about the thing.
They never even bring it up during those investor calls/reports.
Amazon has been 11/11 so far.
Wtf? Sony has a history of throwing money around to ps gamers detriment? Sales parity y dies not equal competition.I want MS to be successful, I really do. But as someone who is a single console owner, and as someone who has ps4 as that console, I view a big gap as good.
MS has more money that Sony and has a history of throwing that money around to the detriment of playstation owners. I would prefer that 3rd parties look at any deal with ms as a 'no thank you' and MS uses that money to develop their own games. Less rise of the tomb raider type situations is a plus in my book. Sales parity given the current set of conditions hopefully discourages stuff like that further...
Ami, I told you in the Twitch chat that this month would be all over the place, eh? Looks like I was right, haha.

Microsoft sold 1.2 million Xbox One units in November. That's a lot of consoles.
Destiny not even in the top 10...
$199 official (not just refurbished) would be nice, but I can't see Nintendo going all in on trying to get a massive userbase on the Wii U. Especially not with how anemic it has been, they'd probably be better off just staying put at this point and letting Amiibo/software keep them even/slightly profitable until their next gen consoles where they can try to pretend this gen never happened. If they pushed for everyone to pick up a Wii U at this point, I can't imagine people would be rushing out to buy another new piece of hardware in a couple of years when they had just been convinced to buy a Wii U.
I really don't get it.
Smash bros. is thrown together and pokemon gets counted individually
The xbox is on top now
Why is that hard to believe? Lest you forget there were times it did only 77k or so in a given month (that was April I believe?), and that outside of US and UK its lows have been even lower than that?It has sold 2+ million in Novembers, so the Xbone only sold 3 million in the 11 month gap? That seems low.
More like Real Madrid, baby!!
Always king!
;P
Thats damn good.

Wii U is a great Nintendo system. So, I don't have any regrets buying it, and nobody else should either if they like Nintendo games. Embrace the love brosefs

They still got another 300k units at least out of the xbox pack in.I imagine there's a lot of screaming going on at Ubi Soft right now.
EDIT: A wild CBOAT appears!

7-10k dif
Hello! Second post in this thread, I think I missed some other questions way back, but, eh...
As to your inquiry, our stores saw a *lot* of PS4 inventory. Our local Sony/PS rep was in my home store talking with management about shifting extra stock. We restocked the floor pallets/piles repeatedly.
The XB1s we had (the bundles anyway) were selling out very quickly... But that also has *some* to do with MS not really sending us aggressive inventory through the month. I think we saw 1-2 major shipments (which weren't small, mind you), but they weren't on the same level.
So the XB1 'velocity' was higher, they'd sell really fast from the aggressive thing, more people piling in at the urgency points, but the PS4s were just constantly selling at really, really solid numbers. Just chipping away at that sales lead with a relentless momentum.
AC Unity and the MCC issues really didn't help, either. A few of our stores were outright accepting *returns* of MCC because of the faulty launches. Normally, we don't accept any opened software returns except as an exchange for the same game. We were giving store credit in most cases, but, yeah. Some seriously upset Halo fans were seen. Bundling the PS4 with 2 games that received near universal acclaim and especially GTA V continuing to sell gangbusters...
Anyway, that's why I couldn't make a clear call for either system last month. Clear differences in the mindset approaching how to sell this month... If MS hadn't basically eviscerated their own bottom line, there wouldn't have been any contest.
Oh really? So 7k-10k doesn't mean anything?
What?Dat tag. Hope you are not close to tears over CBOAT.
And PS4 basically the same according to CBOAT. Fantastic news for the industry

Well hot damn, then....
UK+US?
This also highlights another issue. Any chance of Microsoft money hatting an exclusive for the Xbox One is going to diminish as the sales gap widens. If they couldn't be competitive this month, and winning by 10k isn't competitive, it's winning by a margin of error - they will have an insane time convincing any third parties their console is a viable permanently home.
I say this a guy who just bought an Xbox One and PS4 within the same week for myself personally.

These small victories may eventually add up.

Are you seeing things?
