Jesus Christ, are you joking? Terry Gross is the best intervewer on the planet.

The only thing I will admit is it is inexcusable that she called the song "Fell in Love With a Boy."

Actually she was referencing a Joss Stone song that was a female take on "Fell In Love With A Girl".

That is probably the only time she was outmatched. It was something else.

I think it is partly because the White Stripes do not fit into the typical NPR audience. You might look into her archives on npr.org and maybe listen to some of her other interviews. You may change your mind. Of course, you may not. :D
