If you are into The Thing then check this game called Nuclear Nightmare out. It's a multiplayer game with up to 8 players set in a snowely location.
And as for the The Thing Remaster. There is actually a small hint that they might consider doing canceled PS2 sequel if this remaster does well enough based on the last part from this interview months ago.

The PlayStation 2 video game based on John Carpenter's The Thing is getting a remaster from Nightdive Studios. So what do the original developers think?
Even though it doesn't look like it sold too well on Steam but am still hoping the other platforms are doing much better. And I decided to get the game now because of this.
