Still less then most countries I think.

Hoping the FTW ends up on the step-up program for EVGA before my 90 days are up.
It is, in sweden
If I recall correctly, SC/FTW/Classified/Hybrid/Kingpin aren't, and have never been, available for step up. It's always reference and/or the base ACX cooling card.
Gigabyte Extreme, looks to be 3slotter. Terrible way to market a product!

Decided to check out the Amazon UK price on a whim, and EVGA have it up for £850, or $1230 dollars. Yeesh.
Funny enough though, they've got prices up on their EU website, and the most expensive it gets is 790 euros, or £608.
It's a third party seller on Amazon uk.
Aren't all of Xtreme cards are?
Got it!
$727 here in my state of Georgia. Godamn. :/
You check this one? Only difference is it looks like it's not a Founder's Edition.
This is not the FTW version that was linked earlier above. That's why its $619.99 + tax and the other one is $679.99 + taxYou check this one? Only difference is it looks like it's not a Founder's Edition.
Isn't that the lesser version with the lower clock rates?
Clock speed doesn't really matter if you're overclocking it to a certain point anyways, which you should.Isn't that the lesser version with the lower clock rates?
Boo, oh well. I'm still getting a 1080 out of it though, so no biggie.
To confirm... no water blocks will work with the FTW, correct?
What's the difference between the Classified and FTW?
I'm mixed on this. Is my motherboard compatible with a 1080? I see a no from PCPartPicker, but others are leaning towards yes.
This is my motherboard: MSI Z77A-G41 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard.
Well EVGA is manufacturing the water blocks for their 1000 line, and I haven't seen any information how to acquire the blocks or what cards support their blocks.
FTW and Classified are both custom PCBs, with the SC being reference. The Classified is just another step up from the FTW, I think FTW is 10 power phase for core and the Classified is 14. Which means more voltage and amps to the core.
I see no reason why it wouldn't be.
It says "1 additional PCI-Express 8-pin power connector is needed." On PCPartPicker.
I preordered the $620 one with the shitty cooler. Should be reference PCB. I'll use EK's blocks on it.

How difficult is watercooled vs air? Does They often break etc?I would say just wait for the Strix or EVGA to announce their waterblocks. The custom PCBs just allow for so much more potential under water with custom BIOS.
Well the power for the 8-pin connectors comes directly from the power supply, not the motherboard. Maybe it thinks your PSU doesn't have two 8-pin PCIe connectors? Even if it only has one, new cards generally come with an adapter that allows you to have an additional connector.

I hate being still too new for this. I feel stupid now. The power supply I originally had died and had to be replaced, so now I wonder if my new one has that pin. Well, thank you so much for clarifying. I ordered the EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING ACX 3.0 for about $650 after tax.

EVGA Hybrid uses a CLC AIO solution. You don't need to do maintenance with these, but basically once they break or a lot of liquid has evapored, you can throw them in the trash. How difficult is watercooled vs air? Does They often break etc?
Do you Need to do stuff with it to maintain it under good standard? I.e with a evga hybrid
Looks like Amazon already removed the FTW preorder option. Glad I got my order in.
* ACX is still up with pics added.
Now when are these badboys going to ship, I got Doom and the new Witcher expansion to play lol.

If you want to go water but are afraid of a custom loop, get an expandable AIO like the Swiftech HXXX or the EK Predator. They are easy to setup but allow for adding other components like a GPU block, pumps, rads etc further down the line and you can refill them.
Custom will obviously deliver the best temps, highest customizability but naturally has a much higher entry barrier, higher maintenance and higher cost.
