That's very conservative but it means that the card is likely to be cool and quiet under load. If you're not into pushing every last percent of performance from the chip it might be a nice card.

Strix or Xtreme or I-chill. Basically the bigger the cooler - the better.

I have 980TiG1 but I wouldn't actually recommend it as I think that it's a bit too loud under load for a custom card with Windforce 3X.
