I'm tempted as it looks better with my Corsair white 680X case but it probably isn't cooler than my Aorus 3090 Xtreme.ASUS GeForce RTX 3090 White popped up here in Sweden... for $2900.

figured I would check again on cards after giving up hope for the last 2 months or so. seems like it's still as bad, if not worse than before. scalping prices are still as ridiculous as before too. so for regular people who don't want to pay double the MSRP or pay for a bot, there's pretty much no chance to get one this year right?
Especially with the rumoured DRAM price increases coming down the pipe, if you haven’t got one, you’re screwed.figured I would check again on cards after giving up hope for the last 2 months or so. seems like it's still as bad, if not worse than before. scalping prices are still as ridiculous as before too. so for regular people who don't want to pay double the MSRP or pay for a bot, there's pretty much no chance to get one this year right?
I'm signed up for both EVGA 3080 FTW3/Ultra and was at my local computer store and they happened to have the EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra so I said screw it and I pulled the trigger.
I'm doing a custom loop with hard tubing, now debating between the EKWB or Optimus waterblock for it.That’s the one I have. You going to do the hybrid kit?
I honestly never thought the shortage would be this bad for this long. Pretty crazy. I feel like I should've gotten a 2060 super when I had a chance
Nope but the 3.5 slot size of my 3090 did give me a moment of pause since now I can't use one of my PCI-E slots anymore.Anybody cares about how the card looks like lol? they are already happy to buy one no matter the looks of it haha.
I sold a 4 year old 1080 for $450I just sold a 3060ti on behalf of my Son for 790gbp....it's madness even when it works in your favor.
Thats how i see the situation also. Sure a GTX 970 is nothing good but i hope for May the availability will get better.I'm ready to wait months, there is no games that's need this much power for the moment...
Pfff only 2900, how lame. This is on Amazon in Germany.ASUS GeForce RTX 3090 White popped up here in Sweden... for $2900.
My thoughts as wellI'm ready to wait months, there is no games that's need this much power for the moment...
Where was the Ti announce?Blog: Just got a notice that Asus 3080 TUF deliveries are now confirmed for June (!).. Scalping prices are at this time double retail. Overpriced 3090s are actually available, no wonder, yet popular versions nearing 3000 dollars scalping price, funny but by principle out of the question. AND not the least the Ti version is incoming shortly. So the only logical conclusion in my case is to abandon the 3080 completely (I don't need it for anything other than VR anyway, could go all year and still it's not that bad) and focus on the Ti going forward even though it possibly won't improve the timeframe.
Where was the Ti announce?
yep. It's like they stopped any gpu prodution 2 months agoFuck me, currently ongoing ebay Germany listings for used RTX 3080s are at €1300-€1500 with hours or days still to go :O

Isn't crypto mining exploding again and compounding the problem?
if you live in a state with a Microcenter, try them. they usually get 3070s every week and because they are usually over $700 they dont sell out right away.fuck in hell everyone involved in this prices. I want my RTX 3070
This is the only way right now. I was able to get my 3060ti from Microcenter too back when prices were $399.99. But yeah go early, as soon as they open the store you can get one.if you live in a state with a Microcenter, try them. they usually get 3070s every week and because they are usually over $700 they dont sell out right away.
I literally got my EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra the same day the tariff exemption ended and prices shot up.
Since then prices only seem to be spiraling upwards. This is the first time I've ever owned a computer part that was an appreciating asset!
That’s what I’ve done but with a 5900x. The long wait has begun.I finally said fuck it and plopped down the cash for a prebuilt PC with a 3080 and a 5800x.
Typically I would just wait out the shortage, but it doesn't look like it's going to be changing much anytime soon.
I sold my 1070 last January for €200. Prolly the 1060 is worth at least that, now.So what's my gtx1060 6gb currently worth?
It was definitely worth it. While I technically paid more than the MSRP of the components I wanted, there was little to no chance of me getting those components at those prices anyway. I'm very happy with my purchase so far. That’s what I’ve done but with a 5900x. The long wait has begun.
