I'm fairly certain there will not be limited stock in the longer run. Can't wait for more benches.
Sure but I was thinking the initial rush, the notion of them going sold out in no time might be greatly exaggerated. We'll see!

The real questions is:
Buy the Titan, or wait for the 700 series?
Didn't they say at the end of March they are going to be released?
Really?
Daamn :/
And don't expect them to be much faster than the Titan, if they are going to be faster at all.
Sounds like Galaxy is going to launch a cheaper Titan with no Boost

Top Gear Top Tip: AVOID. ( Okay maybe not but I will)

Avoid ?
Boost is for casuals, real men use Afterburner![]()
Except this is boost 2.0 which also has voltage regulation, which is nice to keep dynamically on top of the heat.
An ideal scenario would be if the 780 was slightly below a Titan performance-wise, with half the price tag. I can't fathom any 7xx series single chip/gpu card being faster than a Titan.
I can't bring myself to be excited, or worse; charged for, something we used to have anyway.
Which card had that included in its boost? Cards just regulate their voltage based on load - Idle, avg. Max. This is included in the boost sequence of Idle, avg. Max and then a new range when boosting, to effectively overvolt during a boost.
Sure but I was thinking the initial rush, the notion of them going sold out in no time might be greatly exaggerated. We'll see!
Not to burst your bubble, but at least with the 680s - they were sold out within an hour and only restocked in trickles for weeks to come (read: you camp F5 on your favorite sites ALL week - annoying)...so it's best to get them at initial launch, if possible...unless you're OK with waiting a month or so.
The ARES II is definitely not comparable to a 680 or Titan just because it is watercooled and has an insane price in comparison to anything else out (i.e. an ARES II is really just two 7970s yet it's about $300+ more than buying two 7970s!). Nevermind the lack of hype/marketing versus Titan.
Except this is boost 2.0 which also has voltage regulation, which is nice to keep dynamically on top of the heat. Any idiot can overclock, it's nice to know the card itself can take some measures to keep cool.
You certainly can't compare a 680 to the Titan either, price difference is huge and one is a complete mainstream card whilst the other targets a niche market. The Titan is much, much closer to the ARES than the 680 is to the Titan.
"Looks like Titan won't be as limited as rumors thought. ASUS and EVGA won't be the only companies releasing it. Makes more sense, don't want to piss off the others."
Source.
The hell kinda source is thatAnd I already posted Galaxy is also now releasing the card. Still doesn't say much about how limited they are.
Haha. NDA is on man...take what you can get.
My heart can't take this any more
Very true, in any case I just want as money Titans on the market as possible]
Das Freudian Slip!
Das Freudian Slip!
Um no Aussie reseller... also the selected partners only show pre-built systems
Cant buy it separately by the looks of it.Where's the card?
Dammit.
Cant buy it separately by the looks of it.
Not yet.Sure you can, that's just their pre-built deal crap.
In terms of availability and pricing, it’s a somewhat mixed bag. An SRP of $999 puts TITAN well beyond the reach of most gamers and enthusiasts, but this isn’t a limited edition card which will only have a production run of 1,000 (we’re looking at you ARES II) so availability should be similar to that of the GTX 690. Just don’t cross your fingers hoping that every retailer will receive stock. While EVGA and ASUS are both supporting this launch in North America, TITAN will likely only be offered through primary retail channels like Newegg, Amazon and NCIX.
In addition, don’t expect the same support from every board partner since NVIDIA hasn’t made the inclusion of voltage control mandatory, nor is the 1.2V maximum set in stone. Some manufacturers may simply decide to forego the inclusion of voltage modifiers within their VBIOS, eliminating this feature altogether. So do your research before jumping onto the bandwagon of a particular GTX TITAN model because true voltage control may be a rarity.
OCUK guy updated;
Hi there
Right time now I can speak!
Titan is GK110.
It has 2668 Cores.
6GB of GDDR5 RAM.
Cost to customer with VAT shall be £830-£900 depending on availability.
In short the specs floating about are correct and the pricing I've just put above.
We have Asus, Gigabyte and EVGA on the way.
Pre-orders shall be available on website 2pm Thursday
£900?!!!!
$1000~£644 + 20% vat = £773
Will this mean that the 670/680 will be coming down in price? I could use an upgrade to one of those.
