NVIDIA to release GeForce Titan

Hmm, that seems a little shady.

They know the market for the Titan, and at the Titans release they probably already had plans for a Titan ultra.

The Titan Ultra is just a rumor. Every site is reposting the same info from 3Dcenter.org. I highly doubt Nvidia would release, if true, the Ultra this soon, especially at the current price, and given the regular Titan are still selling briskly.

When I started to type this post, I wrote out the line:

Wow, Titan SE at $600 would be a steal.

What the fuck has happened to prices? It's like I just accepted this as the new norm.

But seriously, SE at $600 would be amazing.

Yeah, it's not that big of a deal if it happens but I'd still say it's a pretty scummy move. The Titan was kind of pushed as this flagship card that was above all else, a technical marvel. Few months later they just shovel on some extra coal and release it again ... Kinda takes the air out of the balloon.

Heatkiller Titan blocks and backplates were released:

From reading around the forums, it looks like this speculation started from 3DCenterForum. Hehe..
I wouldn't even call it a rumor. Just a pure speculation from 3DCenter Forum : what TITAN and/or Tesla K20X would look like if 15 out of 15 SMXs are all enabled...

Just a rumor. The owner of 3DCenter speculated personally what a full Titan could look like. There is no concrete evidence or even rumors from Asia or so that this were true.
