Has anybody else turned on their view of Corbin? I'm still not in love with his look but I really like how his character has developed into the man who destroys RoH vets who don't have the psychology or charisma to move up onto the main show right now.
Yeah. It's a great example of how NXT booking can pivot when something isn't working and turn it into something good. He's also gotten more confident on the mic and while he's probably never going to be the best in the ring, he can hang when he's in there with top guys.

Fight me, Aiii.

I really like this video packages, and also I enjoy this presentation of Asuka, like a female version of Brock Lesnar.

Same.

I'm curious to see how his look holds up if he gets to the main roster. At the house show he just looked like a tall regular guy next to Samoa Joe.

Remember back in December when Meltzer first reported that WWE wanted Nakamura and everyone said "HA yeah right, no chance"?

And yet here we are.

Even seeing Shinsuke Nakamura on a chyron for a match in a WWE-affiliated show is bonkers. I haven't felt this way since main event and upper-midcard guys were showing up in WWE from WCW.

I have some Shiner Bock in the glass in honor of this being a Texas show.

He's not perceived as the successor to Michael Cole in the back.
Their homegrown talents Saxton and Phillips are.

Or maybe, just maybe, they are using the commentators that need development for the developmental show as opposed to using a guy who is better than everyone else already.

Has anybody else done a 170 on their view of Corbin? I'm still not in love with his look but I really like how his character has developed into the man who destroys RoH vets who don't have the psychology or charisma to move up onto the main show right now. Guy's been solid in the ring whenever he's not been made to work squash matches and his promo game has really improved over the last few weeks.

They saw he was getting massive 'go away' heat and triage'd his character. 'Go away' heat turned into legit heel heat and that gave him a chance to develop in the ring and on the mic instead of being shoved down people's throats or buried. He was handled the exact opposite of how, for instance, Reigns was handled on the main roster and the difference is is evident.
