I can't believe have to spell this out...
You're telling me that you've never been in a situation where the subway workers, whether they be a booth operator or a train operator didn't know what the fuck was going on, had wrong information, or was just plain rude?
man...i never had those problems....
usually i know what trains im getting on and where im going...i figure out all that shit before i get on a sub. and then if for instance...they have a the f train running on the e line...the train operator will usually repeat that the f train is running on the e line like 396939 times when u get on board and when u get off.
Only time I really had a problem and it really wasnt....was when the 7 going to main street was shut down at 74th...but i asked one of the guys working and he just told me to get on the 7 going to manhatten and take it to 61 and the get back on the 7 going to main street...and it was all good.
I dont know, maybe they are just rude to you? or maybe you ask them stupid ass questions?
You've never been waiting forever on a platform with dozens of other commuters, only to get some announcement that the train is not on it's way or some other vital bit of info, but can't make out cuz the speakers is broken or the person just can't speak properly?
thats the thing...its not them speaking improperly.....its whoever set up the speakers on the subs and in the stations is a Fuckin idiot.
lets take Grand central station for instance.....next time you are there...take note of the ground you are walking on and the walls. once you take note of that...then realize that the Speakers are ALL THE way up in the ceiling....so you get hella reverberation to the point where once it reaches your ears...it comes out sounding like the Teacher on Charlie Brown. Its not the workers fault, its whoever set up the speakers are idiots.
Same goes for the trains....the speakers just arent set up right. If you ride one of the New Subs....you hear everything clear cause I guess they finally decided to hire a audio engineer to set up the speakers which they should have done in the first place.
peace
