Honestly, I'm surprised more republicans aren't open to the idea of getting rid of him, it seems like mike pence is exactly the kind of president they actually want.

And at least some of the classified stuff some of the Republicans know, like Grassley was in the "just seen a ghost" meeting with Comey, Feinstein, and two others back in March. We're going to have a pretty major cleanup of figuring out who knew what and when in the GOP after this is over.

The thing is, if they dispose of Trump they lose Trump's voters.
 
Imagine how it might have gone if Trump had asked Comey for his resignation.

Or fired him to his face at least, when Comey wasn't on the opposite side of the country.

The petty manner in which Trump fired Comey should harbor such deep regrets in Trump that he apologizes for it every day for the rest of his life. The complete lack of respect for a man with the power to bring Trump to his knees.

*espescially* if they really had this conversation.
 
Obstruction of justice. That's a bold strategy. We'll see how it plays out for him.
 
Killing the Democratic Candidate and than finishing the Republican President would make quite an entry in a history book.

That's what I don't understand, they are just making this worse for themselves. You'd think they can get more done with a traditional republican president. The fact that they are just letting so much slide is making it harder and harder for me to forgive them in their complacency.

The deplorables are still a pretty good chunk of their base. They are so, so fucked right now and it is absolutely wonderful to watch.

Were Pence installed, the media would forgive & forget, and they probably wouldn't suffer too much damage to their base, since who else are going to keep the nonwhites down?

Because Trump, his administration, and his party are so busy putting out his own fires that they can't get any of their agenda items done. Donors don't care about Republicans keeping their power if they can't do anything with it.
