I kinda think back to a lot of shows I used to watch in the 80s and 90s and how, if those middle class families were REAL, all these years later, families like the Seavers (Growing Pains), the Hogans (Valerie, The Hogan Family), the Lambert-Fosters (Step by Step), the Owens (Mr. Belvedere), if they lived to this day from the 1950s, the characters from Happy Days and the characters from That 70s Show would likely all have voted for Trump in 2016. I don't think the Winslows (Family Matters) would've voted for Trump, and while I think the Keaton kids (Family Ties) would've voted Trump, the parents would've still voted for Hillary. Also, given how a lot of John Hughs movies are set in the imaginary "northern Chicago suburb of Shermer", all those "beloved characters" from Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, hell, even Home Alone (which I think was Winnetka) would all be Trump supporters.

I don't think a NK invasion would be that catastrophic. It at most would fuck up South Korea and southern China, which while big deals, is kinda isolated, and NK likely can not supply an army well or for long.

I think everyone around him (except his family and probably Bannon) pressure him to admit it and try a different salvage/spin approach.
I think he refuses to do so, and we get another wave of firings/resignations and maybe some moderates actually jumping ship and some of the party whips turning their back on the whole mess--another shrinking of "Trump's Circle" in general--before he's actually forced to admit it's true, and even then he tries to weasel out of admission of actual guilt.
