So does Obi wan finally get his mojo back in the end? Weak obi wan was turning me off during the first two episodes.

Liam Neeson is returning for the Tales of the Jedi animated anthology show. He’ll voice Qui-Gon in it and his son will voice young Qui-Gon.I liked the finale, the Vader vs Obi-Wan fight was good.
Overall the show is 7/10, there are 2 or 3 episodes that were complete filler and pointless to watch.
The character of the 3rd sister and her story arc is also completely pointless, they could have made that character so much better but just didn't.
Two 1-hour specials would have sufficed instead of 6 episodes.
Is there talk of an Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon show? Or is that is now for Obi-Wan?
There's already a Book of Boba edit on the way so definitely yeah.Someone is gonna cut all of this stuff back into a 90 minute movie, I'm sure.
Hmm, an official edit or fan made? That would be a tough one since they gotta keep all that Jennifer Beals hotness but TBH it was all for nothing and should be cut. Salvaging any of the Boba Fett footage would be hard, though all you really need is what we got in Mando s2 and that he can ride a rancor he got from....somewhereThere's already a Book of Boba edit on the way so definitely yeah.
I had the same feeling, not to mention the FX are terrible in this last episode with a special mention to everything that takes place in space. Is it me or does the final episode either have some major encoding issues or they threw some crappy filters on a lot if the footage ?
Overall i really loved the last episode!
-Reva stuff was ok, clearly setting her up for her own series
-Anakin and Obiwan stuff was the highlight! Obi showing that hes still the Master and seeing Anakins face in the mask and the voice going back and forth between Anakin and Vader was fantastic stuff! NOW the line in New Hope makes sense when Vader says "When i left you i was but the learner"
-Leia stuff was cute, and Obi telling her that bit about her parents was awesome
-Owen letting Obi meet Luke was nice and the "Hello There" line was the icing on the cake
-Seeing QuiGon was cool too, we knew it was coming since the 1st episode when Obiwan was talking to him
-Palps at the end
Even back when it was just a movie it was about how a defeated Obi-Wan is redeemed to be the Obi-Wan from ANH.That finale was EVERYTHING I was hoping for for this series!

where can i watch that? There's already a Book of Boba edit on the way so definitely yeah.
None are finished yet as far as I know. This guy is streaming his editing process live:where can i watch that?
This hit hard, I got teary like the massive pussy I am. Best scene in the whole series. That scene of Obi-Wan telling Leia the traits she got from her parents:
everytime it cut to the other boring fight i yawnedOverall, the series is an 8.3 for me. The last two episodes are clearly the best of the series. Nevertheless, the last two episodes are also not "highlight" episodes. There were some highlights here and there. But not a whole episode that is now on a different level.
I expected much more from the last duel in particular. After all, they announced the "duel of the century". But the whole thing went by pretty quickly and basically the duel is just another version of the duel Vader vs. Ahsoka in Star Wars Rebels S02E22. Quite funny, actually. Especially because the E04 was a re-interpretation of the end of Jedi Fallen Order.

I like the write up. I haven't watched the last episode yet so I'm reading old posts. Hope it's a good conclusion but I'm a little worried cause there is talk of a second season so I don't know if that will soften the impact of the last episodeThere was quite a bit of allegory here.
Their first duel was amidst the raging flames of the lava mines of Mustafar. Now ten years later, the fires of Obi-Wan's youth long since cooled, they find themselves in a quiet mine in the dark of night.
Obi-Wan tells Leia that using the Force is like turning on a light when one is afraid of the dark. When he's lost in the dark and terrified, as soon as he hears Vader's voice he doesn't hesitate to fire up his saber, after being reluctant to a moment before. This shows he's at the end of his rope, and Vader is fully in control of the situation. It also shows Obi-Wan falling into something Jedi are not supposed to succumb to: fear.
Finally, after rewatching the scene, Vader is clearly letting him go. There could be many reasons, but I think it's most likely that Vader figures he can let Obi-Wan wallow in his failure - because remember, Vader doesn't know that Obi-Wan is actually in anguish over him failing Anakin. Vader believes himself to have been the failure that day. Now he wants to make Obi-Wan feel the same - not realizing that he already is, just for reasons that Vader can now no longer understand.
I don’t think she knew who he was just that Owen on Tattooine had him…and he was important or something? I dunno the whole Reva plot was superfluousBtw did they explain how Reva figured out that Luke is Anakins kid?
Cuz all i heard in Bails message was "the child".
Spot on, this was actually my conversation with a friend, and it isn`t the only scene that makes ZERO sense, as you say. One could argue that some of the decisions the characters make are downright idiotic, but I don`t want to be too harsh. The last episode almost pulled off something special but like most of the rest of the show, this part makes absolutely ZERO sense...
Obi had the worst villain in the galaxy beaten again and he leaves him to recover and continue his murderous rampage against innocents? "I will do what I must." What must you do Obi? Fail the entire galaxy because of "old friend feelings?" Makes no god damn sense. I understand he has to beat Vader to fulfill the line of "I was once the learner, now I am the master." But they could have easily had Vader escape in some way so that it made more sense, instead they just leave him kneeling in front of Obi ready to die and he just walks off like Revenge of the Sith. What is this shit? This literally makes Obi the biggest failure in the galaxy.

My theory from forever Star Wars lore, especially old school Star WarsSpot on, this was actually my conversation with a friend, and it isn`t the only scene that makes ZERO sense, as you say. I think that these scenes are a result of backing themselves into a corner, I mean that`s what happens with sequels before prequels and then inserting shows smack down in the middle of them all.

Obi was already tapping into a bit of the dark side and raw emotion to defeat Vader, when he saw Anakin, pure emotion came out, if he would have struck him down, he would probably have fallen to the dark side himself. Obi-Wan was always more methodical and carful minded.
My theory, anyway as a life long Obi-Wan fan.
He has no emotional attachment to either of them. Anakin was his brother. It was all in the tears. But he killed maul and grievous brutally for the greater good. He tried to kill Dooku. I don't see that as dark side because Vader will go on to kill untold innocents and obi knows it.

Obi-wan’s mercy led to Palpatine’s end…well until JJ and Rian Johnson fucked that up, but in the end he was vindicated in that Luke finally got to Vader when Vader could get to Palpatine. Did he know that at the time? Was that why he did it? No but the l…force works in mysterious waysYes that was realizing anakin was gone. He said that, leaving nothing but a Sith lord in front of him that will go on to continue his mass murdering and grow stronger because of another defeat. The Sith thrive off of revenge so obi increased the power of an already massive threat to the galaxy
