You can find the strangest stuff on eBay... O_o

Double Dragon
Darius Gaiden

I wonder how they compared to the Arcade/Console versions. I just bought copy of Darius Gaiden factory sealed from the same seller. I have no intentions in opening it because I'm trying to amass a collection of old DOS/Windows games that will be valuable 200 years in the future! =P
I've been trying to get my hands on the Ultima Collection for MONTHS. It once sold for $20 at eb and gamestop. A boxed copy in mint condition sometimes fetches $100+ on ebay. If only I knew back then, instead of buying Quakes and Unreals, I could have loaded up on UCs and sold them for maximum profit! The same goes for the King's Quest collection. Oh the agony! :lol

You know, I once saw the Ultima Collection at Staples for like $5-$10 (which was surprising cause that place SUCKS... and BLOWS) and also saw it at this one store that was sort of like Goodwill in that it sold used stuff.. however, the lady who ran the shop wasn't there at the time, and I wasn't waiting around to buy it.. even though it was only a dollar.. for the entire collection (used, though)...

I have Ultima Collection :) (I bought for nothing years ago)

It´s curious how games increase its price over time. Make you thing how much money you coudl make just buying some rare games and let pass time to increase its cost. But I hate speculate, could not do such things (games are to be played IMO).

I remember there was a Darius Gaiden review in PC Gamer. I believe it was a budget title. They liked it a lot. I think they gave it a 74% or something.

Oh shit, I actually have that exact copy of Double Dragon (box and all) in my basement. :P Pretty shitty port, from what I remember, but I played in CGA mode. Still good fun, though, despite the low quality visuals...

I have seen that Doom and Doom 2 is rising a bit. If you want to invest some money buy some mint ID games and store them for 20 years.

In Germany some Amiga games have fetched lots of money like Moonstone and Turrican 2. I have Turrican 1 and Turrican 2 for CDTV that I intend to sell in the future I would not get much for them here but in Germany I could probably get 100 dollars each.
