There are so many mini-game fests available on the Wii, so why should you play
Help Wanted? Because its a single-player focused, pleasingly daft game with lots of RPG elements and a substantial amount of great content.
You have to save the world by working a variety of jobs, you perform a job, earn some money, spend money on items/new jobs, items give you a different sort of currency to save the world from encroaching dangerous things (wads of gum, meteors, ramen noodle cup). The jobs make up the meat of the gameplay, but the motion controls actually work really well, and are sometimes mechanically absent all together. The story is delightful and barking mad at the same time, and the RPG elements give the game an addictive hook (just five more minutes, and then I can level up my cow milking job).
In all honesty, its one of my most played games for the Wii
by far. More time got put into this then many AAA Wii efforts from Nintendo, or many of the very other fine games from this thread. So yeah, its pretty good, I'd even rank it as Hudson's finest hour of their late era prior to their shutdown.
