Thats always been my argument. Manos kept the thread alive and kept the conversation going. Without him that thread was nothing. I don't always agree with him but give the man credit.
Supposedly. Which is why many including myself find the movement laughable. I think it started off well and even supported it but its unorganized, no leadership, seeks to overthrow the system in stead of reform it.
Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the "Books." World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the "Books." And I don't mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.
But that video was from Russia Today which means it was staged! I wouldn't really give their printed word any merit, but this was a video and Manos questioned said video's validity since it was from RT.
The person needs to learn to look for alternate sources of information. I cannot imagine a situation where only RT coverage will suffice (and in that case being the only source is it really trustworthy?).
This is the argument I made to my cousin during our very heated debate about this. If you don't have any semblance of leadership or a central voice then everyone becomes your voice. Makes it easier to infiltrate your movement for one.
It's "for real" in the sense that a single individual posted it on the OWS website's forum and those who are eager to promote an anti-OWS agenda and/or are incapable of doing a simple internet search are chomping at the bit to claim that this is some kind of official manifesto of a largely leaderless political protest.
